Couple of things...80% of charging is done at home, so when they wake up in the morning they have a full charge (much cheaper and zero waiting). When you are at a public fast charger, you stop at 80% and move on as charging slows down after that and it doesn't make sense to hang around any longer.
@@lenm2857 yeah the EV driving is a different mindset/planning you do. People don't realize that charging to 100% isn't normal except BEFORE road trips at home. The key for road trips is to charger hop to get there quickly. 10% to 80% is the road trip charging range. More than that & you are wasting time on your road trip.
I live in southwest Connecticut and I drive a 2024 EV6 wind and here when I use a super charger we have 350's and I definitely charge like if it was adding fuel it's 10 - 15 min from 10% to 80% and to get to a 100% which you should only do if you really need to, in 25 min also i get over 340 miles in my EV6, I had a Kia Niro EV before this and my Ev6 is the long term car. Also I charge lvl two where I live for free. States matter in this experience, Also waits are a non factor every time I go to a faster charger around my way even in NYC is always a spot or someone is moving out already, because here most ppl are on fast platforms like My kia EV6. Also yes you can have your stuff on while charging and you can also charge with solar powered generator. I could literally live in my Ev6 I can plug up a microwave and all lol Tell DeSantis to get his shit together lol
i think the future will be on-road charging. vehicles will connect to certain roads for on demand charging. so theoretically they can run nonstop, sort of like bumper car connections but from the bottom.

@digitalxtremehg ok. Will do
My wife has a charging system close to home, so she goes home while the vehicle is charging and picks it up when done. 😊
I completely agree with you. Nice car, but the charging up is a headache
What body you putting in trunk lol

No way in hell I will be getting rid of my 2003 Dodge Ram. Nope.😅
TRUST ME. When charging gets down to 10 minutes and you can't find parts for your Dodge, youl break!
@@FiremansJoe Can find parts for 2003 Dodge? What reality do you live in? They are quite abundant. "TRUST ME. " It only has
