Thanks man. I love your videos always very detailed. Just a heads up guys if you don’t feel like actually replacing the part you can get your hand up in there and move the gear by hand. Move it all the way down and the air will come out of your front vents.

How do I move the gear all the way down? What gear? I'm currently doing Lyft at night because my AC is only working on one side and the side that does work isn't all that great. I've tried refrigerant but it was already full and cleaned out the cabin filter. I'm afraid it might need a flush but dunno.

Do you have a video on how to remove the blower motor resistor in a 2012 chevy cruze?

I had a problem with the blend actuator not working. I heard the actuator making a small noise, even with the ignition power off. Try this before you attempt to replace it if you hear sounds with no power on. Disconnect the negative battery terminal for a minute, hook it back up. Then turn the car on and see if it resolves your problem. It worked for me. It seemed the actuator was stuck in a loop. May or may not work for you, but its worth a try, The worst thing is you have reset your time on the radio.

Where did you get this part from? & is this the same part for a 2016 Chevy Cruze?

Hope this is the same on the 2013 malibu if so seems like a easy fix for no drivers side heat

Did it work? I have no heat on passenger side and it's basically stuck blowing forward only. No feet or defrost.

Hi friend, I've already subscribed to your channel. I have a 2012 Cruze and sometimes it feels like it gives slight jerks. Whether while driving or when releasing the brake, it makes a slight jerk. Help me.

Thank you for all of your videos. I am learning a lot from them. I actually have a chevy Cruze that is giving me a B0223 CHEVROLET - Recirculate Position Command 1 Circuit
, also B0408 06 Main Temperature Control Circuit Short to Ground or Open. I will be taking a look at that.

I'm having an issue with my 2014 chevy cruze, i recently changed the fan blower motor and it gives a sort of burning smell when the heat's been running for a while, i thought it was the cabin filter (which was really dirty) so i changed that and i used a can of compressed air to remove some dust and debris, now my defrost works but not the dashboard vents, is this from the blend door actuator? I should say, that burning smell was not happening with the old fan before i replaced it. I'm very much an amateur on car repairs so please explain it to me in simple terms.

Very interresting. I would like to know if there is a setup to do on the new actuator ? I explain.
If we take off the old one, and it was for example "full hot".
How the new one know that the actual position is "full hot".
Is there a setup, for exemple, connect the cable but not plug in the mechanism, set it on full hot and then when in position plug it in the mechanism ?
On my old Citroen C5 there were this thing to do. Is same thing on this one ?
    Regards.

Does do the blending for the passenger side as well? I have heater works on drivers side (rhd) but stays cold in passenger side. Is this what I need to replace?

    • @nicholaswoodard6205

This answer would be nice before I start cutting into the passenger side to put in a manual lever. I believe they are ran off the same one. The plenum repair alone is like 2 grand just due to the labor to get to it.

My air only comes out the front air vent. Won't come out the "defrost" so it's still the blend door right?

Hi guys, I have a 2009 Chevrolet Cruze J300 and since a few days I have only cold air blowing out the driver's side. Passenger's side is OK. I can switch from defrost, to feet air blowing with no problem. I can switch mode with no problems but only cold air come on driver's side. Do you think that replacing the blend door actuator could fix the problem or is it a problem within the main vent? Regards

You're as bad as a Hayes repair book. Sure it's easy to replace when everything is removed. Show up how to get to it from the start! How do you remove the panels and airbag and the hundred other steps to get to the 2 bolts that hold the actuator in place!!!
