Hi Rob, I was a bit skeptical about it be it’s a good bit of kit. Can’t find anything in their instructions about interference, will have to do more research. Cheers
Hi Martin. Looks like a great peace of kit even if its a bit pricey.... but compaired to the price of the caravan its worth it i think. will look at this for a christmas present to myself maybe 😅 cheers Paul and Sarah
Hi Paul & Sarah, yes it is on the high price side but works really well. There are cheaper ones out there but not sure how they match up. As you know, it's always great to know what's behind you when towing. We have some on our trucks and they are great. Cheers
Nice video. My 2p... That's a large sized screen as you have pointed out, the disadvantage of that is, it protrudes more than the allowed distance into the sweep of the wipers and could be classed as an obstruction for the MOT. Then add the fact people will probably have a tyre pal monitor, then a sat nav, then a phone holder. All of a sudden the view of the road in front his very much hindered but dont worry, you can look to see what you have just hit on the camera. Also from a safety POV, those aerials dont neatly fit under the window pointing vertical, so they need to be angled, in the event of an accident as Peter Kay said... "You'll have someones eye out with that"
I just wanted to add, i do really appreciate the content you put out. Whilst I might not be a fan of the rear camera, I find your channel one of the better channels related to upgrades and getting yours hands dirty.
Valid points as I often tell our drivers that they must keep their windscreens clear. The Monitor is within Zone B of the windscreen and will only be used whilst towing, thus not a problem with MOT. I will however be trying to find another location for it as I wasn't to sure I liked it in that position. My Tyrepal is situated on the far left of the windscreen at the bottom, again in Zone B and does not cause any obstruction. My Sat Nav is built into the car entertainment system so no issues. I will update if and when I come up with a solution.
Thanks for the comments and support, you have to be able to take criticism doing this TH-cam thing. It's not a one size fits all, I welcome observations but also keep my feet firmly on the ground as this channel is a hobby not a job. Thanks again, Martin
I would imagine so Colin, I did think about that as I wasn't sure about the solar staying on the roof, but it's been fine. Not worked the frequency thing out yet! Cheers
I am fully aware of using my mirrors effectively, I have worked as a DSA driving instructor, Police Driving Instructor and now a HGV Trainer teaching Class 1 amongst many other things. Many new HGV's are doing away with conventional mirrors and replacing them with cameras which have a greater field of vision and also have rear view cameras. Any further technology that can assist in keeping yourself and others safe on the road is a positive for me. But what do I know! Cheers
I would have thought you would know better ,not only was I a grade 6 DSA instructor I was also a DSA driver examiner, a police advanced driving instructor and assessor, Not forgetting HGV instructor and military examiner authorised to conduct driving test worldwide. So, what do I know about anything too
@@davidnicholson1883 known better about what? In your initial comment you are insinuating that I’m not using my mirrors properly. Most people who watch my channel have no idea what my background is so I pointed out I don’t need a driving lesson as I know what I’m doing.
My final words on this may not please you, but when someone is putting content into an open forum such this then it will generate some debate. I have trained, assessed and formal tested thousands of drivers on a wide variety of vehicles including motorcycles cars and heavy goods vehicles. Some drivers being competent some not so. Incompetent drivers fall into two categories those who are conscious about their ability and those who are unconscious of it. I don't know were you fit into this. Some drivers are unwilling to welcome feedback despite it been well intended or highlighting a development opportunity and that was all I was intending
@@davidnicholson1883 I am aware that it is an open forum and I am happy to take on board any feedback. As for my driving and my training abilities, again I have always welcomed feedback to help improve my skills and I undertake observation of other trainers to assist them in their continued professional development. I think the ability to do so is the key to being a good trainer/instructor. From your initial comment you are making an observation of less than 2 minutes of driving that I need to be more effective with my mirrors! So my advice to you, make sure you gain an in-depth observation of someone’s driving ability before giving feedback and not making an assumption after 2 minutes of footage. I’m sure you will take that on board as you are conscious about your abilities.
Never said that, if it’s something I want I’ll have it. Anyone in the same position would probably do the same! Spoiler alert, I’ve got some more products coming. But if you see them don’t watch!
Nice to have some rewards for many hours you put into content. At least we can expect objective reviews. I bought and fitted Emove MMs because of your video. DIY self video showed how straight forward it was.
Brilliant clear picture on the screen Martin 👍and loads of settings in the menu. Just need to solve the interference 🤔. Cheers, Rob

Good vlog Martin & very well explained. Thanks for showing us. Regards, Mo 😊👍.
Thanks for watching Mo. 🙂
Nice piece of kit Martin thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks for taking the time to watch Paul, Cheers
@TheCaravanNut you will have to stop putting stuff on the channel that I want. The bank account is taking a bit of a thrashing 😂😂😂

Nice bit of kit. Paul, don’t forget to buy mine as well 😂😂😂
Hi Martin, hope you're both.ok. It looks like a nice peice of kit, shame I don't tow anymore, see you soon Andy 👍
Hi Andy, we are both well. You need to get off that seasonal and get touring! Cheers
I've retired from touring mate👍
@@andyjenno I’ve heard you’ve retired completely 🤣🤣
@@TheCaravanNut That could well be happening 😭
Great video Martin i would love to have this but its a bit pricey for me maybe if u talk nuce to my wife i may get it for Christmas 😂
Yeah, I mentioned that in the vlog about the price. Not sure how others work but this one works very well. Cheers

That’s a clever bit of kit isn’t it
It is, works well.
Wondering if it’s possible to use it without solar panel? Just charge and use. Can you alter frequency to avoid conflict, it would drive me nuts.
I would imagine so Colin, I did think about that as I wasn't sure about the solar staying on the roof, but it's been fine. Not worked the frequency thing out yet! Cheers
Bit pricey too!
Yep, mentioned that in the vlog!
Maybe you could try something else like using mirrors effectively, looks like just another gadget made to get money from people and messy when fitted

Just see it as another distraction whilst driving ....fine when your reversing but then wife would be out of a job
It’s just like a rear view mirror essentially. I like to check mine!
Works really well, definitely an advantage for me. Cheers
Might save a marriage of cause any reversing accidents will be totally drivers fault.
Hi Martin great piece of kit but not cheap 😢
Yep, not the cheapest but works well. There are lots of alternatives out there but not sure on their quality!
Thanks for watching. 🙂
