Hey Paul, I recently bought this exact camera and hadn't yet permanently mounted it on my caravan so I was delighted to have stumbled across this video of yours. I thought you did such a nice job, I copied it exactly! :) A friend of mine gave me an off cut of facia and I cut the grooves in and cut to size as per your vid. I had also already purchased the same caravan adhesive so just followed your example! Today I finally mounted it all and it looks great and works a dream! Brilliant video, thank you so much and keep up the good work - love the vids, Graham.
@@pashonexploring We have an Adria Adora Sava, it's quite long 8.3m in total and being new to caravaning (and towing) I was keen to get a camera fitted at the back. I mentioned on a Caravan Facebook Group that I was looking for advice on how to mount it and a couple of users suggested I drilled holes in the carvan roof! I apprecaite you can seal it but you've got to be asking for trouble, longer term if you start down that track... I think the same people are wondering why they might have damp problems... hmmmm :)
@@pashonexploringhad a weekend away and got to try out the camera and found it absolutely brilliant The picture quality is awesome The only issue I've got is the supplied mount would not stick to my car dash so going to need a better way, I noticed you use a removable plate in your car any video on how you did it thanks again.
Great installation, well done. However, was disappointed you didn't switch it on, and show it working from the mounted position on the rear of the Caravan...!
Great tutorial, we are taking delivery of a new Coachman on Thursday, I’ve been looking at camera options myself, you would think in this modern tech times they could factory fit one, save a lot of hassle.
Hi Paul, liking the video's. Great looking outfit you've got there. Getting my coachman this week. After seeing this i bought one of these camera's and am impressed with its quality so far. Can you explain what it is you mounted it to on your dash as not sure I want to stick the mount to my dash.
Hi, I mounted the monitor on a piece of metal plate which was bent in the shape of a hook, its slips under the lip of the dashboard and holds itself in place and I can remove it when not needed. The only things to be aware of are any hidden wiring as you wouldn't want to damage that and if there are any airbags close by, good luck. 👍
Hiya Paul have just purchased this after watching your review. How did you secure the solar panel? I don't trust the sticky pad that it came with? thanks, Christine
Hi Christine, I think I relied on the sticky pad provided, and its been ok, but you could run a bead of sealant/adhesive around the edges if wanted to, cheers
Looks a great tidy install, would be interested in hearing a update later in the year to see how it’s all performed

Any update still good
How did you attach the solar panel?
It comes on a mounting bracket which has its own adhesive pad.
How are you getting on with the reversing camera?
Very satisfied with it, I'm putting together a short update which should be out in a week or 2.
its been a year since your install, how are you still finding it? thanks
Hi, I did have a fault on the camera, but autobox replaced camera immediately. Apart from that, it has been very good.
The cable from the camera to the solar panel is very short.😮
