Feel so sorry for your losses... what a nice setup you have there, I hope your production will bounce back rapidly to the level you had...
It's tough to see what you are going through. Actually even if I live in an area where -10 to -30°C is the norm during winter (4°F to - 22°F), surviving an electric failure during a winter storm without enough generator power to support heating and aerating my >100 tanks/drums is my worst nightmare (as long as "only" fish are concerned!)... it happen 1-2 times a year but I can't get use to it even if I have a contingency plan in place involving friends, propane, batteries, thermal bubble wrap and several generators... and very little sleep.
I'll keep looking for updates hoping to see good news....
    Good luck

From the first moment I saw your drainage system and the black mangroves filtering the sump water, I knew I had found the greenhouse of my dreams. I will be moving in two years, and I hope to have enough left from the sale of my house and the next purchase to build a greenhouse much on the same design, but I would use kratom trees (mitragyna speciosa) in the same way as your mangrove.

@@goliadfarms7029 Until about two years ago, everything we knew about Mitragyna Speciosa indicated that it was a tropical evergreen tree. This might be true in summer specs, but only because every tree in the tropics is an evergreen. It’s actually deciduous, and grows just fine outside a tropical climate, but it much prefers the heat and humidity that a greenhouse would provide. I had numerous trees growing in small containers of my house, but I had to reduce it to one plant because of size restrictions. I wasn’t expecting my indoor makeshift greenhouse to make their growth explode like it did. I had individual leaves on the trees bigger than my head, but the growth was not sustainable indoors. I appreciate your time and feedback.

I was thinking a little further if you were going to heat four of the 300 gallon tubs during an emergency and had to run through and scoop up fish the best placement would be 2/5 of the way in and 4/5. Probably painting those emergency time stock tanks red or a different color partially at least. Also the ones most at risk should be closer to those tanks. These are just ideas and pondering. I don't know how you would be able to heat such a thing with less than 3 to 500 watts per tank. 🙏
