Hi team Frey. I just started following you every day. I have CF myself, diagnosed at 13, and going strong at 31. Your videos have inspired me to try to be better. Keep on keeping on.
Peter, you are truly an amazing husband and you do so much for Mary. With that being said, please look after yourself. You look so tired and stressed. I see the hurt in your eyes. I can't imagine what it's like to watch your loved ones health go down hill. If you don't rest and take care of yourself you aren't going to be able to be there 100% as she gets worse. There is only so much you can do. You should really ask her parents to come stay for a few days to give you a break both mentally and physically. Praying for you both
Disney Gamer it's reality that she will get worse, Mary herself has said it multiple times. In no way was I trying to be anything but nice, and concerned. I want Peter to realize that he needs time to himself.
I agree with TheMcCormickFamily and Hummingbird. Peter and Mary are plenty aware of the progression of CF and how it works. She may have periods of feeling better, but overall, the disease is progressive and terminal. They know this, and they're facing it with courage and positivity.
I totally agree. My son is my caregiver and has been for 15 years but became full time 10 years ago with me being so bad. When I went in the hospital and they told me I was going to die...he would not leave my side. But when God performed that miracle on me and I got to feeling a little better, it was cold, snowing and it is an hour drive to get to the hospital...I told him to stay home for a couple of days to rest. It did him a lot of good.
I am an RN and I work at a Level 1 hospital. I work with people everyday with serious conditions. One of the biggest things I try to do is to make people laugh. Laughing, to me, is great medicine.
You know the kind of power your words can have!!!! Do not claim that your body is broken, claim that it is healed!!! Praying for you Mary! Praying for a miracle, praying for healing, praying for a cure!
Peter is tired! I commend him so damn much!!!!! But he needs a break. It would be nice if Mary had an aide that can come by and help out. He is going to get burnt out. Peter is such an awesome person.
I saw Peter's sermon about how suffering can bring joy and happiness. Like precious metals being purified. I can totally relate to that. My "I choose joy" t is on the way Yay! Love you guys. God Bless
everyday, doesn't everyone use Mary as an example? I was invited out to eat lunch with two people I admire so so so much. But I knew I was, feeling badly, and had just gone to run one errand and knew better than to say YES. Part of me came home to feel bummed, I could not say YES. But, I needed medication and icing on my knees. Should I push or not? I did say "I'm so sorry I can't come today, please ask me again, as I would love to go to lunch with both of you and today I just have to go home and take care of my body." There are times you accept, you have to manage this illness, NOT just put out fires. So now I rest with ice, and know that, I do indeed have no control.
Kitty Mervine Good Job Kitty...I have been struggling with my asthma and having to accept the kind of mom I can be today isn’t as active as I’d like and the kind of clean I can get my house today, isn’t the kind of clean I would like but just doing the best that I can do. I really can relate to your post today.
This t-shirt is perfect for my situation. I have chronic, severe back problems and I can't stand up straight. I am so stooped over that sometimes my back is almost parallel to the floor so I really look broken. Mary, even though we don't have the same health situation you are still an inspiration. Praying for better days for us both.
My body is broken from nerve damage post failed back surgery. I always tell people that I can't let my brokenness define who I am. It's something that happened TO me its NOT who I am, I am still me. People see what they want to see no matter what and that can be hurtful. In the end, that's their problem and their loss. Mary we love you no matter what. The "monster" can't keep us from being who we are and you are so precious and while you don't feel well you are in so many ways so full of life and have so much to share with others on the same or similar journeys. Thank you for sharing with us all!
I love the new shirt and saying! I have had an intractable migraine for the last 12 years and when I go to the doctor telling them my pain levels they expect me to be in tears. One of my mottos has always been that "Tears will not take my pain away", after all if they did my migraine would have been gone years ago!
The 24th was my first back surgery and it’s been a very rough and uncomfortable week and this title of this video is so unbelievably perfect. I have thought about it all day and it’s given me a comfort/peace I hadn’t had till now. Thank you for pushing on and giving us all the encouragement to move forward too 💜🙏🏼
Just started watching your vlog over the weekend. A friend of mine has cf and is living her life to the fullest after her transplant but still has bumps in the road. You both are a blessing and an inspiration. Mary, you probably have one of THE best smiles I've ever seen! As a person in the medical field I also appreciate your education! Thank you! May God continue to bless you both
Love the new saying! I don’t have any major medical issues, but I’ve been dealt a pretty bad set of cards as far as life goes. Even when it seems like everything is going wrong, I always manage to find something to smile about
It's nice to know you have such a caring, supportive team. I think they are lucky to have YOU as a patient though, and I'm sure they appreciate that you appreciate them! LOL
I do enjoy it when Peter is able to put his thoughts into the video. It's apparent he is a very spiritual guy, well-grounded (doesn't exaggerate things), and keeps it all in perspective. Sometimes the videos are just so redundant, which I know chronic illness is... It would be nice if Mary could go back to 'teaching' us about the disease, as she did in the beginning. You know, throw in a number for the "high fever". Let us know how things really are! I think those of us in the comment section are able to learn from the numbers. It seems now that it isn't so much about teaching, but more about how it affects every aspect of her 'reality'. It's easy to tell that Peter is very much her emotional rock. Good on you, Peter!!
haize2005 I think they’ve said before they don’t like to include specific numbers because then people compare themselves and their illness to hers, which is not a healthy thing to encourage. I see it happening a lot on Instagram with people who post specifics of their conditions.
Thank you both - you don’t know how much your message rings true. God bless you both - from one who is still learning to deal with a body that is breaking. 😇
Just completed my first order from your store! Thank you for always being here to keeping me company during my long and lonely days. Keep up the good fight you two! Such an inspiration to my husband and I.
More GOLD!! “When things are worth your time or energy, they are often exhausting” -laughter is worth the time and energy...and exhaustion!!! (When ur chronically unwell!!)
Finding joy amidst the crap is a true gift and like your beautiful smile and laughter, it's inspiring and infectious. We are with you sweet girl. Peter too! That sweatshirt is beautiful. I feel like my entire wardrobe is going to be Frey Life. I'm saving for the oatmeal Ollie shirt, now this one!🤗
Wow what much wonderful power do you two have. It is so encouraging to see you fight cause of my depression I find it hard to look at the bright side. You show me what the reason to live is. Thank you!!! Praying from you
You two are always so inspiring. I'm very fortunate to have good health but I know that many of your subscribers suffer on a daily basis and I have no doubt that they get so much help from watching and hearing how you go through your struggles. Yes, Mary, your beautiful smile always work to cheer up everyone around you. I pray for God's blessing upon you always.
You guys are younger than my husband and me, but you are still my example couple. My husband and I are both struggling. It can be hard to get through the day sometimes. You two are such a fine example of a good couple.
Oh sweet Mary!! Seriously your positive attitude is encouraging!! ♥️ Ever sense I came across your channel I now daily remind myself to choose joy!! Thank you!
I am so glad Mary's feeling better!!!! Thank You Mary and Peter for making the video. I know that took a lot of strength despite how tired the both of you must feel. Try to get some rest. I could see how tired you looked Peter but If you don't take care of yourself first, then Mary won't have someone taking care of her later. I learned this taking care of my cats. If I can't take care of myself, then I can't take care of them.... Take care of yourselves! As always, I will see you (guys) tomorrow.
So I'm a high school senior this year and have been having issues finding my senior quote. I definitely think I'm going to be using your quote as it because it relates to the struggles I have every day.
Thank you for your great perspectives on life. As someone with chronic illnesses I need to remember I can choose to see the joy in some simple things. Love and prayers for you both.
Can’t wait to get my shirt, money has been tight lately and so I missed a few others being released too, I normally get everything I can as it’s released because it really means a lot to me and be able to help support you guys too. Thankful for the gift money I got to be able to at least get these❤️ love ya
Hello! I have become addicted to your channels. It is wonderful Mary that you are sharing your struggles with us. It makes it easier for me to live with mine. You truly are an inspiration to me. I am wondering though, is Peter taking care of his health? He is appearing very worn out and I couldn’t help noticing his posture seems off! Please take care of yourself Peter!!! Thank you for sharing!
It is a spiritual gift to disconnect the body from the mind and I know all people can acquire it. I love your new sweatshirt! I am saving up for some of your apparel because it’s the happiest and most positive clothes to wear 😍
I needed this quote. I had a rough day with allergies and IBS. basically a lot of post nasal drip that will not let up especially since it's been raining so much. Prayers needed! Thank you guys so much for being so positive about life even when it sucks! Life is truly beautiful
Mary , l pray GOD will heal your lungs. you are so positive , you are a sweet and kind person. and Peter is such a wonderful husband , I see the love between you two, sending love and healing prayer
Nice sweatshirt. This is my favorite saying. I saw it on the internet once. "I don't know how my story will end but no where in my story will it ever say I gave up." :)
Oh my gosh, Mary, I just love you and I love that new sweatshirt!! I want one so much!!! Even though I'm on oxygen and have so many health issues everyone comments that I still have a smile on my face. A nickname of mine is actually gigglebox! And you are right, it doesn't mean I'm always smiling. It's hard when you are feeling horrible. But I'm thankful to be alive. The alternative isnt an option. Glad you are home. Hope you are able to enjoy being there a bit. Love you guys. Tina
Yes it does Mary.......your joy and smile is infectious!!! Thank you for being you and bringing joy to others 😊💜 And I just ordered the new Merch love it 👍🏼
Your team is awesome for thinking outside the box and continuing to do so to help you have the best life you can. Ooh nothing’s is better than your own bed❤️ Stay strong and keep smiling😊
You two are a beautiful couple. GOD is with you . My body is also broken . I get so much inspiration from you. Both of you are amazing people . A person can tell GOD is working through you .
Yay!!! Your home! Love your new shirt. I'm glad your smile always works because its infectious. Peter, cleaning the fridge, I feel your pain. I do not like bad smells either. Keeping both of you in my prayers. Have a great tomorrow.
I like the shirt, but I think it's important t let people know that it's okay to not fake smile day after day. Sometimes you feel like crap. Sometimes you might need extra help in the form of counseling or antidepressants. Sometimes its okay to be angry, tired, frustrated and sad. Not everyone can "choose joy" when suffering from chronic illness, and that's okay too.
Thank you for all that you do ❤️ thank you for sharing your story, I love the balance you strike between sharing the hard stuff and sharing the lighter stuff.
I know you were both hoping and praying for a better outcome, we all were right there with you, but it’s so nice to see you both looking so relaxed and well rested. Hopefully the opportunity to rest properly will give Mary’s system a chance to reboot xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I dont have cf but I have asthma n those flare ups with chest infections sucked. But now I'm battling with two crushed discs in my back which leaves me in severe pain all day every day I get nerve pain all down my leg I had a bum knee and ankle my body is just riddled with injuries and pain. I find watching ur videos helps me remember to find joy and a reason to smile and keep going every day
You guys are going to make me cry! Your message is the same one I try to send out in my community! Keep smiling and laughing about the tough things in life! Elizabeth
Will you please do a more in-depth video of where you are at in your health and what the future may hold? Love our videos! You remind me every day to be grateful for just the simple things in life. You are in my prayers.
PLEASE make some merch with the phrase "relentless joy" on it! I know there's already some with "I choose joy," but there's something about the word "relentless" that just really spoke to me :)
God gave you the perfect husband Mary. Someone who walks with you and supports you on your journey with this. That is most definitely something to smile about!
The Lord promises us joy in any situation! How wonderful to watch you actually living that promise. I like to think that those of us with chronic illness and/ or broken bodies will be astounded at what we can now do when we have our glorified and perfect bodies! I probably won't meet you till then, but when I do, we will both be able to run and jump and sing praises at the top of our new and perfect lungs! God Bless you both.
The saying on your shirt has been one of my favorites, too! I have so much stuff wrong that just can't be fixed, & people always comment that im always smiling, how can I do that, etc. But I see blessings all around! Has your appetite improved, now that you're home? I bet it:s nice to have home cooking instead of hospital!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, the new shirt! That IS especially GREAT for those of us with "Invisible Disabilities." I'm hoping to one day be able to afford it (hint, hint....maybe a future giveaway contest? Puleeeze?) but in the mean-time, I'll start saving me pennies! Glad you're home, sad the abx's didn't work, but one will.....you just need to find it!
Mary & Peter, I agree with alot of the comments, Peter you look extremely exhusted and very stressed out. Please ask a family member, or a friend to come stay and help out for a little bit. I'm sure you don't want to admit to it or bother others, but your health is just as important as Mary's health. I hope you and Mary don't take offense to all us saying this. Your Mother's both seem so living and caring, I'm sure they would love to help out for a little bit, that's what family does for the ones they love and care about. ❤ PLEASE!!
Stacey Cotton Seriously? I’m not sure what good any of these comments do! He’s a big boy and everybody telling him what they think he should do isn’t gonna make him go call one of their moms to come right away! I know you and others are concerned but he really doesn’t need people he’s never met in person telling him what he should do. I’m not gonna read through any more comments simply because it sounds like a broken record!
I have an autoimmune disease and often wonder if the drugs I am taking are worse for my heart and liver than the actual disease itself. Do you ever feel that way?
I totally need to order that new sweatshirt!! Having fibromyalgia and a serious back injury, I'm always saying that! Love love love it!! Yay!! And I'm always praying for you guys. I'm so sorry that this course of antibiotics didn't work as anticipated. But I totally love your approach to life... we gotta praise Him in the hallways when he closes the door. He WILL open a new door (better course of treatment for you) and I'm praising Him in advance for all He is going to do!!
I love watching your vlogs Mary & Peter specially when I go to the hospital / dr apts I have tons of drs apts each month now & im going to be having my 4th heart surgery here in a few or couple weeks when they call & I also still have to get brain surgery after , you’re videos help me so much get threw them tough hospital / dr days . Thank you so much Mary & Peter & Ollie Boy for these amazing vlogs & keep on fighting hard Mary you’re such a strong person I admire you guys so much 💞🙏💛
I love you guys. I knew when I started watching and learned to love you guys that the hard times were going to be hard for all of us, but the knowing you is worth it. Hang in there. It’s all for God’s glory. I have seen God getting glory out of your struggles. Just keep keeping Him in the center of it all. You will hear well done my good and faithful servants and we WILL enter a time of rest (eternal rest) where there is no more suffering when we have completed the good works that God has set apart for us to do.
I have a purple I choose joy shirt...long story short I'm on my 3rd pregnancy with hypermesis guarvidium. 8 days in and I've lost 14 lbs and I cant function. I went to the doctor today to see what's next and looked down and saw this shirt. And even though I vomited the entire time snd may have to be admitted...choosing joy. Such a powerful thing. Thank you.
YAAAAY I’m glad the “I chose Joy” is on a sweater!! I’ve wanted it so badly but it’s getting too chilly for a T-shirt! I’m totally ordering it on payday!
Off to buy the new shirt! It's so spot on for my living with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain and I cannot wait to wear it! The phrase so speaks to my heart and I love what you said about not being able to change the reality of the situation but choosing to smile through it all. Love you guys!
Peter surprised me with a brand new sweatshirt! I hope you guys love it as much as I do!
it's getting colder, I will need another sweatshirt, my LAUGH EVERY DAY shirt is much loved.
your positivity is catching so keep on fighting and please god you'll get the rewards you deserve
Love the new sweatshirt!
Soooooo...Peter said that they come up with the sayings in the vlogs, right?
Well, the next one will be " as always we will see you tomorrow" 😂
💜💑🐕
Hope you feel better soon Mary. I watch your videos all the time. It helps me forget my health problems. Xoxo
Hi team Frey. I just started following you every day. I have CF myself, diagnosed at 13, and going strong at 31. Your videos have inspired me to try to be better. Keep on keeping on.
Mary is such an inspiration. I truly take "do what you think you can't do" and "I choose joy" to heart.
You are a beautiful soul. You inspire me to keep fighting my battle with autoimmune illnesses.
I LOVE that sweatshirt!

Disney Gamer I don’t think you’re reading this right. All they are doing is showing compassion and concern. Why are you so defensive?
Disney Gamer it's reality that she will get worse, Mary herself has said it multiple times. In no way was I trying to be anything but nice, and concerned. I want Peter to realize that he needs time to himself.

Mary, if we don't smile we would get washed away in our tears. At the end of the day, there is something special about today worth smiling about.
You pair are a joy to watch. So gracious and sweet. Sending good vibes your way! It’s obvious you’re a bit down Mary, keep fighting as you do.
It's nice to know you have such a caring, supportive team. I think they are lucky to have YOU as a patient though, and I'm sure they appreciate that you appreciate them! LOL

Really like the jumper Peter. Not just the words but also that 'broken' and 'works' are in white. Broken still works!
That saying is nice. It instantly made me feel like I should be happy and smiling as much as possible every day
Mary , l pray GOD will heal your lungs. you are so positive , you are a sweet and kind person. and Peter is such a wonderful husband , I see the love between you two, sending love and healing prayer

Thank you for being you and bringing joy to others 😊💜 And I just ordered the new Merch love it 👍🏼
You both are gems in this sea of stones.
Awe, I like this so much
Your team is awesome for thinking outside the box and continuing to do so to help you have the best life you can. Ooh nothing’s is better than your own bed❤️ Stay strong and keep smiling😊
You guys are truly a bright spot in my day! Share your smile!
You two are a beautiful couple. GOD is with you . My body is also broken . I get so much inspiration from you. Both of you are amazing people . A person can tell
GOD is working through you .
Just keep fighting guys.I know how it feels.
I agree with you Mary, my body is broken in a different way than yours, but I still find myself smiling a lot!!!
So glad your home, your looking so much better than before xx
Yay!!!
You both are amazing and a true inspiration to so many people. 😊
Elizabeth
I love your honesty, and your commitment toward one another! I hope you feel better soon Mary!!
I needed this today. Going through a really rough patch. You guys rock!!!
Praying for you guys.💕
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, the new shirt! That IS especially GREAT for those of us with "Invisible Disabilities." I'm hoping to one day be able to afford it (hint, hint....maybe a future giveaway contest? Puleeeze?) but in the mean-time, I'll start saving me pennies! Glad you're home, sad the abx's didn't work, but one will.....you just need to find it!
Praying for both of you. You both need to rest as much as possible.
You both are such an encouragement 💗
Mary & Peter, I agree with alot of the comments, Peter you look extremely exhusted and very stressed out. Please ask a family member, or a friend to come stay and help out for a little bit. I'm sure you don't want to admit to it or bother others, but your health is just as important as Mary's health. I hope you and Mary don't take offense to all us saying this. Your Mother's both seem so living and caring, I'm sure they would love to help out for a little bit, that's what family does for the ones they love and care about. ❤
PLEASE!!
I also have an autoimmune disease and yes, I feel this way as well.
Be strong! And keep smiling. You are a warrior, And a Angel. And we LOVE YOU!!
You’re an inspiration to me! Often times I get down because I have lupus and an adult son with autism! Your saying is so true! Love you guys! Prayers
Thank you so much Mary & Peter & Ollie Boy for these amazing vlogs & keep on fighting hard Mary you’re such a strong person I admire you guys so much 💞🙏💛
Good luck with your upcoming surgeries, I hope everything goes well!
Mindy Van Horn thank you so much Mindy 💞
I love you guys. I knew when I started watching and learned to love you guys that the hard times were going to be hard for all of us, but the knowing you is worth it. Hang in there. It’s all for God’s glory. I have seen God getting glory out of your struggles. Just keep keeping Him in the center of it all. You will hear well done my good and faithful servants and we WILL enter a time of rest (eternal rest) where there is no more suffering when we have completed the good works that God has set apart for us to do.
Glad to see you home. Rest hun.
Frey to live by
*Frey* when you think you can't walk
Sing when you think you can't breathe
Smile through the tears that you cry
Stay when you feel you want to leave
Live every moment as if it was your last
Dream in the present, not about the past
Remember to always do your best
Keep trusting in God and he will do the rest
Have fun when you're working, resting or at play...
And don't forget to laugh every single day!

My birthdays coming up in a week and I’m SOOOO buying this shirt!
Just bought a sweatshirt. This is my life to a tee. Thank you.
Thank you.
Love it!💜 🙏 Blessings to you both, and Ollie!
I love this saying/design!! CF wise and right now while my ankle is quite literally broken.
Have a great day tomorrow!!! Bless you both 💜💜
YAAAAY I’m glad the “I chose Joy” is on a sweater!! I’ve wanted it so badly but it’s getting too chilly for a T-shirt! I’m totally ordering it on payday!
Mary you're such a fighter I continue to pray for you & Peter!! I hope you start to feel a little better...💖💙💛💜☺
Off to buy the new shirt! It's so spot on for my living with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain and I cannot wait to wear it! The phrase so speaks to my heart and I love what you said about not being able to change the reality of the situation but choosing to smile through it all. Love you guys!
