There are onsens where you can have tattoos, and they're owned by the Yakuza, similar to tattoo studios. A friend of mine who has a lot of tattoos went to Japan and she even got a tattoo there. Just because it's owned by Yakuza doesn't mean anything bad for the regular customer.

@@juampisito Yeah but you don't know that it could be a retired Yakuza member because there are a lot of retired Yakuza members in japan that are no longer in the Yakuza but still have the Yakuza tats. Also Yakuzas dont seem that scary, if you ever wanna find a video talking about them I suggest watching The Anime Man who interviewed an old Yakuza member who goes into depth about themselves, their tats and things like that. Very interesting, I suggest giving it a watch.

I relate to Uki with this, having tattoos myself. I asked my friend if ever i visited Jpn, if i can go to one. She said i can, but there were only a couple of onsens who will accept me. If i plan to go to a traditional one, don't bother.

That's old fashioned thinking. While most onsens don't accept tattoos in Japan, I believe the thinking that tattoos are a taboo has changed and is a lot more accepted, especially in the younger generation. It's just Japan being Japan, traditional rules take forever to change. They literally still use fax in the office, and never did online meetings until covid hits.

(Why oh why is it like this, its basically the only reason behind the japanese stopping normal people with tattoos/foreigners into an onsen, i don't get how they can still have that mind set now-a-days but not just that and a bit of a side tangent but Uki wouldn't be able to visit a good % of love hotels either, since men couples are kinda banned from a lot of them, according to most the videos ive seen documenting them from within (and if cdawg's and chris'/abroadinjapan videos and them discussing it on trash taste are anything to go by the reality of the people who have actually visited these love hotels in JP and how they treated gay but only in particular mLm relationships, he and chris got denied and kicked out of more than a few, more than 3 that means for just being 2 guys and they aren't even gay, yet you can tell connors even annoyed its happened and fs, chris is engaged! but nope, not allowed in a good few)

@@user-pt5cl2ro6f the culture of personality traits being so heavily linked to bedroom positions, especially with gay men, seriously needs to come to a close. there are just as many assertive bottoms as there are assertive tops, and most gay men in real life, unlike fiction, don't even have bedroom rolls they exclusively stick to. Most will have a preference, but it's usually pretty fluid and depends on mood, who the other partner is, etc.
