Portnoy already challenged him to play Dance Of Eternity, so his name is officially on the most wanted roster. That was by far my favorite Drumeo video ever, and not just because Portnoy and Carey are my favorite drummers ever (I'd love to have access to video of the entire 5+ hours Portnoy was learning Pneuma). If we got to see Danny play Dance of Eternity, or even just some more HD drum cams of him playing like the Vic Firth drum cam video, I would be over the moon, but I'd love to see his take on some song challenges. BTW I've seen BTBAM 3 or 4 times and they're easily my favorite "metal" band ever. I've said hi to all the guys after shows and they're the coolest dudes ever.
Crazy to think I’ve been listening to Blake’s drumming for damn near 20 years. Never ceases to amaze me how creative BTBAM is with their music. Congratulations Drumeo and Blake, this was fucking epic.
Got to see them play Parallax II in Winston earlier this year at RamKat. I actually put their shirt on this morning and found this video about an hour ago.
I contacted Drumeo about this. Apparently there was some sort of copywrite issues with this live and his other recordings. So they had to get them cleared before uploading.
Blake I will always remember meeting you at your mom's house when I delivered for FedEx ! You and your mom are the kindest people in the world to me brother and thank you for the time you took to hang with me for a few .
I met him back when they toured for alaska in buffalo, stood behind him while he drummed the whole concert, left with one of his sticks. Best show ever.

I REALLY want to see Blake do a "never heard this song before" bit. BtBAM is one of the greatest yet underrated bands. Seems like not a lot of people realize just how complex, calculated, and technical the band is.
Yeah man, good observation. Every build-up and little break with only riffs, he smiles and puts his hands up (cos' they've got nothing to do for, like 3 seconds, haha!). He obviously loves playing in BTBAM!
Probably one of, if not the most well-rounded and impressive drummers in the prog metal world. His left leading foot and hand work completely changed my drumming around 2008.
I first heard of this guy because of ROCK BAND the video game (DLC specifically) which is how I taught myself to play drums. BTBAB was just impossible to cope with and yet equally impossible to not vibe with. I had to know who the drummer was even if I wasn't a fan of death metal and whatnot because the drum patterns were so batshit musical. Brilliant! Drumeo never misses!
