Yeah, my experience wasn't bad at all. I had a lot of anxiety prior to but it was more pressure than pain.

Ask for anesthetic! Absolutely advocate for yourself. If they refuse find a different provider

The consent form had a clause about the use of a local anaesthetic.

I had a pap smear and the was pretty uncomfortable. I could not imagine having part of the cervics torn off or scrubbed with a metal scrapper with no type of sedation or pain relief.

and then OB's gaslight women into saying it's not painful. Pinch off any part of your body and see if it doesn't hurt
