Dar es Salaam from Arabic: دار السلام, romanized: Dār as-Salām, meaning: Place of Peace) is the largest city and former capital of Tanzania. With over six million people, it is the largest city in East Africa and the fifth-largest in Africa. On the Swahili coast, Dar es Salaam is an important economic centre and one of the fastest-growing cities in the world.
Until 1974, Dar es Salaam served as Tanzania's capital city, at which point the capital city began to move to Dodoma, by order of president Julius Nyerere, which was officially completed in 1996. By the late 2010s, it remained a focus of central government bureaucracy, although this is in the process of fully moving to Dodoma. It is Tanzania's most prominent city in arts, fashion, media, music, film and television and is a leading financial centre. The city is the leading arrival and departure point for most tourists who visit Tanzania, including the national parks for safaris and the islands of Unguja and Pemba (Zanzibar).

I spent 4 months in Tanzania 🇹🇿 2021 sinza mori dar es salaam and many other cities it a place to visit including Rwanda 🇷🇼 Uganda 🇺🇬 Burundi 🇧🇮 Malawi 🇲🇼 Congo RDC 🇨🇩and Congo Brazzaville 🇨🇬 I been all over it was great vacation for me after the lockdown in Bangkok Thailand 🇹🇭 I’m back on this stupid shit again 😆😆

Tanzania need more skyscrapers,,,, out of this four of Dar es Salaam,, no where you can find then in other cities of Tanzania,,,
There are skyscrapers else where in dar es salaam like victoria and makumbusho, in fact the tallest building in Dar is Psssf building at mlimani city area, but these building get attention because they are iconic and at city centre, like every one who visit Dar go to the downtown where there are businesses and hotels and not the other places which also headquarters corporations but they are too far from the city centre, had you been to Dar you would have known that
