Red pandas are probably the cutest animals in the world. I know jealousy is not good emotion to have but I'll admit I'm so jealous of anybody who has the opportunity to play with red pandas like this! 🥰
He was all like, im gonna get you! And then he got gotten, and had a giggle about it,. Had some fun rolling and flopping around like a silly boy! They are so playful, and gentle. I just want to squeeze em in my arms! Like a hairy baby!
I remember the first time I had ever seen or heard of a red panda, I was standing next to a tiny enclosure at the Sacramento Zoo and thought it was empty come in all the sudden a and I was confused as to why they had an animatronic stuffed animal in an enclosure. I legit couldn't comprehend that that could possibly be a real animal and I kept watching it and realizing holy crap on a sandwich, Batman, that's a real animal! And I've been in love ever since
When I heard that 1 of the reasons they are endangered is because of poaching, I thought the same thing as most people. What kind of monster would even think about harming such a beautiful being!?
Fun fact, Red Panda is the 1st true Panda. Giant Panda name after Red Panda. they both are related just like Bear and Dog, but Red Panda are not Bear like Giant panda.
I seen and got to hold and feed one at the zoo I got lucky to be able to do this cus some places don't allow it and they are so cool they look a cross between a raccoon a baby bear cub and. Have this unique look and playfulness to them I highly recommend to see one in person and if your ever lucky enough to do so and get hands on with one do so it will live with you and you will never forget the experience
They are really very close to dying tho... Their natural habitat has all but been destroyed... There aren't even 200 left in the wild... The definitely need human intervention... The problem with their habitat is its just peaceful bamboo forests... So they are the easiest to encroach and destroy... Also these are very very very shy animals unlike the white pandas... They would rather die starving rather than come to human settlements to get food... I feel terribly sad whenever I see them... Its too sad that that u can't even domesticate them as its against the law now... They require special care and won't survive to their natural age without strict diet and care...
