The theory sounds cooler than what might've actually been done but I'll say it anyway.
I heard that creators make Superman look somewhat older in JL Season 1 since it took place a certain number of years after STAS ended but eventually changed it.
Still love the theory since it sounds cooler.

You forget they came to take him all because he wouldn't bow down to them, after they let Krypton die just to maintain THEIR POWER. Admit it, the Guardians didn't intervene cause they cared about earth, they intervene cause they thought Clark would one day grow strong enough to threaten Their Supremacy.

Trust me, he played a much bigger part, a lot characters on Batman's side only made things worst when Clark was actually trying to do good. But Batman lose his boyfriend the joker and needed someone else to fight, so he turned on Clark and let's not forget that he also had Harley on his fucking team after what she did, after she helped Joker blow up Metropolis and kill lois amd her unborn baby, so stop defending Batman.

IMO, Rogue Superman was at his best while under Darkseid. Mainly because he was brainwashed, but also thanks to that sick suit of armor.

I loved the Justice Lords Suit. I think the initial killing of Lex and Soviet Superman's killing of Stalin was justified. It just got out of hand after that. On the Soviet side there was also Braniac pulling some strings.
With some balance those Supermen would be better than the regular Animated series one. Killing or execution is sometimes required. It doesn't have to be a hero doing it. But these villains constantly coming back to the public, especially Batman's villains are just plain stupid.
That's the whole point of all these Superman stories (Injustice too). When you cross the line once, even for a very serious reason, it becomes easier to cross that line for a second time. And easier to cross other lines.
The problem is, humans are much more complicated than that. E.g., cops who shot a terrorist don't start shooting petty criminals for no reason. Just like most thiefs will never start raping and murdering.
Still, for kids - it's OK.
@@ImperativeGames The differnce is Superman murdered the Joker in cold blood, and found a much more "easier" way of dealing with criminals. That's where the slippery slope came about. It wasn't just as simple "killing".

These are interesting takes on Superman, and I have the dvd of Superman vs the Elites before, and of course he was faking being a rogue version of himself of course, and that animated movie is based on the Superman comic book story I remember reading about in a wizard magazine💁🏻♂️.
You gotta admit though, Darkseid controlled Superman's Armor and Justice Lords Superman White Suit are SICK ASF! It was such a waste not including them in the Injustice Games.

'Ol Sups has been through worse times over the years, even being exposed to Red Krytonite that sometimes made him go rouge due to it's unpredictable affects it has on him! There was one episode of Super Friends where he was turned into a vampire by Count Dracula by the count's Vampire Vision!

When I played "Injustice: Gods among us" the story really put fear into me, fear of Superman. A being with all that power that doesn´t hold back. Not because he´s been brainwashed, under some odd influence or anything... but because he was driven beyond his braking point, because it´s his decision to disregard the rules of a world which can do so little to oppose him.
It´s like Amanda Waller pointed out in the Justice League Animated Series: if the Justice League ever went rogue nothing on earth could stop them. And Superman is their most powerful member.
A fully unleashed Superman could kill the entire League before most of them would even understand what was happening.
If you wanna get a glimpse of this... watch "Invincible". Take a look at Omni-Man. And keep in mind while you do: while Omni-Man has similar powers he´s NOT as durable as Superman. Same goes for Homelander in "The Boys", btw.

Precisely. As he was possessed by Trigon, he didn't control his action. It was Lois' death that brought him out of it. So it wasn't really Superman, even though it was his body. Plus, he was fighting Darkseid then.
