I can't wait for the next episode!! 😂 Yeah, the Red Woman is losing her faith after Stannis. How Sansa and Theon survived that jump is that snow drifted along the castle, Snow got so deep that it caught them. I've been in snow drifts up to my hips once and saw it deeper alongside a hill one bad winter here in Montana. I've always wanted to jump in one once to test it out, but I'd probably get stuck! 😂😂
Yes, unfortunately at this point in the show the showrunners stop showing things that would make things make sense just to draw out tension, or make things happen that dont make sense bc they want something to happen faster, and that kind of stuff keeps getting worse until the end.
Melisandre is hundreds of years old, the necklace is magical that keeps her looking young. Since she's lost faith, she's like screw it and took it off. Arya is continuing to learn hard life lessons. Using a face without permission and not being "no one" has its consequences.
I wouldn't say she lost her faith at this point, but her faith is certainly shaken. Thats why you also see her huddled by the fire and with a thick blanket around her, when before when she was at the wall she was telling Jon that the Lord of Light keeps her warm enough. But, yeah with her faith shaken, she now feels the cold.
My only question is why did she have it off when Stannis’ wife visited her during a bath? She didn’t have the necklace on but still appeared the same then. Purely an error?
I know they did the necklace thing as a shock for the audience. But in show, I think Melisandre took it off hoping she would die in her sleep. The way she looked before taking it off. All the things she has done in the name of the war between the Lord of Light and the Night King is finally getting to her. Shaking her faith.
At this point Melisandre is having a gigantic existential and faith crisis. Yes... she is ancient. Remember back when she told Stannis "I have been fighting far longer than you."?
Mhysa is not Valyrian, it's ancient local language. Dany didn't know what it meant at the beginning and adopted because it sounded cool. They hired the guy back on House of dragons with excellent results.
Indeed. Makes me think of Dany saying “Valar” in the season 5 finale and they tried to hide that by putting “fly” as the subtitle for it 🤣🤣🤣 when, if they had kept the linguist, they would’ve known she was supposed to say “Dohaeris, soves.” (Obey, fly). So many misdeeds.
In Season 3 finale I think it was Missandei says "it's old Ghiscsri, for mother" which makes sense bcuz that's obviously the language the people of that area would speak, esp the lowborn. So that was either D&D 'forgetting' and Cogman (who as the story editor is supposed to catch things like that) or Varys thinking he knows every f*ckin thing

Thanks for the reaction. Season 6 isn't perfect, but still has some very very good episodes. Bran's actor.....hit puberty before the 5th season. So instead of trying to work a story immediately after he reached the Tree and all of the sudden he's a foot taller, they pushed him out to the 6th season so that it 'made more sense' as time had passed while he was there.
What?? What does him aging have anything to do w anything? They left him out bcuz there was literally no material for him. Even in the books he's literally just sitting in a tree eating roots and there's not even that much of that... like yall need to stop and start looking at things objectively
@@_justinblizzle You literally didn't pay any attention. Go read the book. There were plenty of changes they made. Tyrion hadn't even met Daenerys by the time of the pit scene. Doran Martell isn't killed by Ellaria Sand and the Sand Snakes. His own daughter tries to crown Myrcella Queen of Seven Kingdoms and she isn't poisoned by the Sand Snakes. So the whole 'his stuff was boring' argument was just a ploy, as they were already taking liberties with some of the main storylines.
@@tervalas we’re not talking about that stuff thou are we? We’re talking about Bran being left out of season 5 bcuz of “puberty.” Stay on topic. And I never said Bran’s “stuff was boring” personally I enjoy his character/chapters more than even the actual bore that is Jon Snow. But does Bran’s material translate to exhilarating television, probably not.
"Do you know your wife's dead?" He rode back on the same boat with her corpse and was painting the rocks for her eyes when he was killed. But not picking up on that makes perfect sense, because in Season 6 they suddenly forgot how time and space work.
One thing I always thought was interesting was the Lannister hair thing. In the books, they are all VERY blond. Jamie, Cersei and Tyrion are all extremely blond. When the show starts, its the same. They are all blond. But as the show progresses, and the characters evolve, Jamie and Tyrion hair gets darker, more browm and eventually dark brown, as they slowly depart from their former selves. Cersei is the only one who remains blonde. Her character, at its core, never changes. She remains an entitled, horrid person throughout the whole show, and the fact that her hair always remains the same color is the reflection of that. Very clever.
16:26 you don't see the big circle in the grass? horses have trampled the grass. It's pretty convenient that the ring is in the middle of the muddy circle where the grass isnt fucked. and they stood in that small circle when he found the ring.
In the books, if you care, Arya is get the vision that similar to Three Eyed Raven, that make her can use cat eye to fight back, but in this episode she not have that yet, and in the show arya just showed fight back with her instinct not the GodOfDeath eye's power.
That sounds a lot better than the nonsensical writing we ended up getting for the rest of this series. At least some competent writers are in charge of House of the Dragon. I hope these two aren't so turned off by the end of Game of Thrones that they decide to skip the spin-off.
god, the way sansa looks to theon and his little nod? because their father taught them the words. ned sat all his children down and taught them how to be good lords and ladies, how to accept fealty from another, and the responsibility that comes when someone pledges their life to yours. and her saying the words, stumbling over them, but still practiced, still rehearsed, still an ancient and sacred word of bond.
Melasandra the character & all her traits was stolen or paid homage to, depending how you want to look at it, off of the character Morgana in the movie Excalibur. The best King Arthur movie ever made IMO, a must watch if you haven't seen it. There was another character, Geofrey, whose traits in GOT, seemed to mirror a character in Excalibur too, but far less then how so much was taken for Melasandra from Morgana, who was played by a young Helen Mirren, some 40+ years ago.
Unpopular opinion but I love this season and without any spoilers I even consider two episodes to be right up there in the best episodes of any TV show ever definitely top 5.
@@j_fley6702 I too read all the books only after watching the first 3 seasons. GoT changed how I viewed TV shows. The show is amazing and I enjoyed the final season. Season 6 is also my second favorite season. Not sure what more people want. The show is cinematically beautiful, well acted and a phenomenal story. And the score and sound design are top notch. People just love to complain and hate, especially GoT "fans".
@@j_fley6702 Get off your high horse. The writing is infamously poor in this season. I find it mind blowing how u guys get everything all figured out the first time of watching coz Game of Thrones is so difficult for a lot of people to read the storyline and plots, that's intelligence there.
Yeah, that’s why I like these guys, they’re switched on. I’ve seen it with several shows now. They make some wacky predictions, like Jon and Cateyln having an affair, but most of these time they’re very perceptive.
The Red Woman's "Vibe" has been so strong towards Stannis & yet he fails/failed & she has been distracted by Jon. Seems her "frequency" is just off a bit. She definitely notices this and does seem distressed/depressed & needs to recharge perhaps? The phrase "old as dirt" seems appropriate for her too!
The deal with Melisandre is that she misunderstood a real prophecy that she's heard all her life, the legendary *azor ahai* a warrior supposedly who is supposed to vanquish the long night with a flaming sword.

Hollywood cracks me up. You cannot get wet when it's freezing, that's how my grandpa died. That was decades ago, but reality is reality
lolwut?
400 years young, she is.
You guys are great, keep being genuine and fun!
Buckle up you two! Season 6 is a wild ride!
“Our God is an awesome God” 😂😂😂😂 I’m dead
16:26 you don't see the big circle in the grass? horses have trampled the grass.
It's pretty convenient that the ring is in the middle of the muddy circle where the grass isnt fucked. and they stood in that small circle when he found the ring.
😂😂😂 Bridget is hilarious
In the books, if you care, Arya is get the vision that similar to Three Eyed Raven, that make her can use cat eye to fight back, but in this episode she not have that yet, and in the show arya just showed fight back with her instinct not the GodOfDeath eye's power.
That sounds a lot better than the nonsensical writing we ended up getting for the rest of this series.
At least some competent writers are in charge of House of the Dragon. I hope these two aren't so turned off by the end of Game of Thrones that they decide to skip the spin-off.
@@fakecubed yea bro, even they're turn Dany,Arya and others to be villain... And that ending was sucks.
god, the way sansa looks to theon and his little nod? because their father taught them the words. ned sat all his children down and taught them how to be good lords and ladies, how to accept fealty from another, and the responsibility that comes when someone pledges their life to yours. and her saying the words, stumbling over them, but still practiced, still rehearsed, still an ancient and sacred word of bond.
Finally!! Yayyyyyyyy. I simply love you both and your commentary is hilarious.
Great reaction to this episode! You two crack me up!
Season 6 is one of my favorites!!
Yeah, it's a real shame the show ended after S6E10. Maybe someday they'll finish the thing (correctly)
the way dorne is done so dirty in the show
"He's great with his fingers now" LOL!!!
Instead of getting a revived John Snow, we got a couple of scrambled eggs hanging from a door nail. What an ending lol
I mean that freezing water CAN kill you😂 You’ll get hypothermia before you can blink and die
HOLD UP. She doesn’t know Superman got crippled?????
yop, thats strange.. who doesnt know Christopher Reeve??
Y'all was funny af this video 🤣 lmfao 💀
I loved this. Did you ever think a time would come when the joy of an episode came from Theon?
16:30 yes, they see the HUGE circular pattern of the horse/hoard tracks 🧐
Unpopular opinion but I love this season and without any spoilers I even consider two episodes to be right up there in the best episodes of any TV show ever definitely top 5.
For me it's 3 episodes this season are in my top 5.
@@j_fley6702 gave me a chuckle. Thank you.
It's a rubbish season overall. The last two episodes are nothing special if we're being honest.
@@j_fley6702 Get off your high horse. The writing is infamously poor in this season. People forget how shit the first 8 episodes are because the last two are fan favourites and massive spectacles (despite also being poorly written). Nothing about BoTB makes sense and the finale is just as boring as the rest of the season outside the first 20 minutes, which are the only good thing about the entire season. Nothing pedantic about wanting good acting and characterization., how is that ''meaningless shit''?
LOL at the Awesome God reference!
Sorry but Ollie’s the only one I can’t really hate. Dude saw his entire family butchered, saw the first man he ever trusted work to free their murderers rather than punish them, and I have no doubt Throne really dug into his trauma to push him into helping with the murder.
They ate his mama and his papa. That sucks!! Poor Ollie.
Totally agree about Alliser. It would be very easy to manipulate Ollie into thinking it was the “right” thing to do.
Not only is Melisandre ancient, clues in the pooks point to her being recurected, like Baric Dondarrion.
Yeah, Arya was blinded by revenge, so she was punished accordingly. And Melisandre took off her necklace in the bath in the Mockingbird episode. It's because she's lost her faith.
WELCOME TO *VAES DOTHRAK* HOME OF THE HORSE 🐴 LORDS.... IN HERE ALL WEAPONS ARE FORBIDDEN WHERE LEGEND SPEAKS OF THE STALLION WHO WILL MOUNT THE WORLD...
"Put the necklace back on..." 😆
I waited until the show was finished completely before I started watching. I know myself and patience is not one of my vitues. I binge.
TITLES TITLES 😂😂😂
“Im glad your family died” to Olly 💀😂
"Not lightly do the leaves of Lothlorian fall.."
Keep up the EPIC work 🤩 🤩
The knew it was a hoard because of the ground, the grass was all trampled on, except for the middle.
Lolz Tyrion and Varys walking around Meereen without protection lolz that’s how bad this shows gotten lolz.
22:57 put the neckless back on HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA
I find it mind blowing how u guys get everything all figured out the first time of watching coz Game of Thrones is so difficult for a lot of people to read the storyline and plots, that's intelligence there.
Most people don’t spend time going over an episode let alone making a map
Yeah, that’s why I like these guys, they’re switched on. I’ve seen it with several shows now. They make some wacky predictions, like Jon and Cateyln having an affair, but most of these time they’re very perceptive.
The Red Woman's "Vibe" has been so strong towards Stannis & yet he fails/failed & she has been distracted by Jon. Seems her "frequency" is just off a bit. She definitely notices this and does seem distressed/depressed & needs to recharge perhaps? The phrase "old as dirt" seems appropriate for her too!
Keep em coming!!!
You can see how the grass was trampled in a circle except for where Daenerys was standing, thats where she dropped the ring.
The deal with Melisandre is that she misunderstood a real prophecy that she's heard all her life, the legendary *azor ahai* a warrior supposedly who is supposed to vanquish the long night with a flaming sword.
I just found this out and had to tell someone. The guy that plays Hodor is 6’10” which is only two inches shy of Andre the Giant. Jeez Louise!
Ughhhhhhh finally!! Seasons 6 & 7 .. parts of 8 are the fucking best! So thank F&&* y’all are finally here.
Trystane did know, he was painting the stone eyes for her
Another way the books is just better they did Dorans bodyguard dirty. He was basically Dorne's version of The Mountain and Selmy
I wanted to watch the histories and lore season 5 livestream before this, as usual, but I cannot find it. Anyone has a link???
Not “Our God is an Awesome God” 😂 💀
Hi guys😉 been waiting for ya next video, thanks heaps yaya, :)
Never skip the intro!
11:20 - about prophecy: it's already false. Cercei has 4 children, not three. She has a boy with Robert.
Melisandre is 400 years old.
sweet summer children
Patience, my friends 🙂
