And Kit told him that he was back to which the officer replied, "on your way Lord Commander." Really shows how invested people were in this show and the characters!!
There were also the interviews that Kit did for TV where they questioned him on keeping his long hair and Jon-Snow-look between the seasons. He replied that he was just a corpse that just lied on the table, and that it was his best work. 😅

I'm a huge dog guy and have had dogs in my life... my whole life. When Ghost lifted his head I jumped up. My wife and some friends we had over all didn't get it, but I thought that was pretty genius and any dog person would know that bond is strong and if anything was different about Jon, Ghost would have known first... before anyone else. I also thought it was pretty smart to not bring Jon back in the first episode of the season... furthering everyone's despair thinking he was really dead. made it that much more impactful when he was resurrected. Think about having to wait a full year to get to this season after Jon's assassination, you watch the first episode waiting for someone to bring Jon back, or find out it was a dream and not real, etc., but then nothing happens... the show ends and he's still dead. Then you have to get all the way through this episode too. And how powerful that the moment we see life in Jon, in over a year's time, it cuts to the credits. amazing storytelling.
Two things about the scene when John is brought back to life: First, Melisandre went through all that ritual io no effect. It was when she stopped thinking she had any power, lost her pride and merely whispered "Please" to the Lord of Light did I know John was coming back. Second, when my family watched this the first time, we started yelling, "Leave the room! He can't come back when people are watching! Get out!"
You guys can you imagine we've been waiting for freaking almost 2 years for Jon Snow to come back!! I still remember how I was so mad when he died, I was like: I'd never watch this shit anymore ever again, pissed, angry, sad, then 2 years goes by and literally, I've been running all around my room screaming and crying lol He's first breath scared the shit out of me too by the way! That’s a betrayal. I don’t get what’s so difficult to grasp. Are you telling me that if someone you trusted was making friends with someone who’s responsible for killing your entire family and friends, you’d just be okay with it? You wouldn’t feel betrayed? The inability to understand why Olly is deeply upset and betrayed at Jon’s actions is puzzling. I get that we love Jon, but he’s the one who fucked up when it came to looking out for Olly. He knew Olly was upset and just did a big picture greater good speech as if a kid is just supposed to understand and be okay with that. He didn’t even try to give Olly any kind of justice or compromise, hell, he could have easily said that the wildlings responsible, like Tormund, would be punished when this is all over. Jon being nice and kind to Olly actually makes Jon’s actions and decisions even more of a betrayal to Olly because it showed that Olly couldn’t even trust someone like Jon.

I think they were terrified that people wouldn't come back to watch season 6 after Jon died, so there was a studio directive to make it clear to everyone that it wasn't permanent.

I don’t think yall grasp why Olly went at Tormund. This is the wildling who was there and led the attack on Olly’s village. He is the reason that Olly was orphaned and traumatized and lost everything. And he is also the guy who led the attack on Castle Black where Olly saw people he knew again slaughtered by wildlings. Tormund is part of the reason Olly was repeatedly traumatized and threatened and lost so many people. How could he not run at Tormund, how could he not hate the wildlings? He’s seeing people of the Night’s Watch siding and making friends with the very people who took everything away from Olly. Honestly the lack of empathy for Olly’s perspective is always so sad to me. We can somehow all feel terrible for the Stark kids and cheer them on to get the bad people who hurt them, but Olly has no such support because we like the folks who hurt him. That poor boy deserved better than the adults around him who all failed him.
The creature that was taking to Mera in front of the cave entrance is a part of almost extinct race of humanoid beings called the Children of the Forest who were in Westeros ages before the First Man came there, after the First Man they started chopping down their trees that they were using to pry , they started a war against each other, the Children of the Forest created the Night King by stabbing a guy who apparently was the lord commander of the Night Watch and stabbed him with the dragon glass in his chest that they used for hunting, the Children of the Forest were capturing the First Man and stabbing them in their hearts with dragon glass and turned them into the first White Walkers to be the Children of the Forest weapons of war against the First Man ❤
Same here. I don't understand how people get surprised by these things. I knew Melisandre was gonna revive him as soon as I saw Thorn stab him. Hell, I knew he and Arya had the ultimate plot armor, I even thought he will be the one to slay the Night King in an epic duel.
The three eye raven old man had been trying to teach Bran how to control his powers and never lose himself as he uses it. And that girl wasnt wrong later in the episodes "Bran you died in that cave"
Everyone thought joffery was bad, but ramsay is on a WHOLE other level. Joffery was atleast a child that needed to some straightening up, ramsay literally has 0 remedable qualities. He gets worse from here.
I think it's really underappreciated how viewers feel towards Melisandra. You despise her actions during the first couple of seasons she's in and after the fall of Stannis one quickly forgives her, because of how defeated she suddenly is. Sure, we hope she can bring back Jon, but still it's crazy how you feel for her and even hope she finds new stength in her faith after bringing back Jon.
Hounds of Hell protect their masters when they sleep. Ghost is the Goodest Boy. Jon's eyes were fine, because Jon's Ghost was in his Ghostie boy. While his body was sleeping. And it had to be 3 days, come on. Even Jesus was in the Underworld for 3 days.

I don’t think yall grasp why Olly went at Tormund. This is the wildling who was there and led the attack on Olly’s village. He is the reason that Olly was orphaned and traumatized and lost everything. And he is also the guy who led the attack on Castle Black where Olly saw people he knew again slaughtered by wildlings. Tormund is part of the reason Olly was repeatedly traumatized and threatened and lost so many people. How could he not run at Tormund, how could he not hate the wildlings? He’s seeing people of the Night’s Watch siding and making friends with the very people who took everything away from Olly. Honestly the lack of empathy for Olly’s perspective is always so sad to me. We can somehow all feel terrible for the Stark kids and cheer them on to get the bad people who hurt them, but Olly has no such support because we like the folks who hurt him. That poor boy deserved better than the adults around him who all failed him.
This!!! Olly had everything stolen from him, and then had to be in the Night’s Watch because of it.

I think it's really underappreciated how viewers feel towards Melisandra. You despise her actions during the first couple of seasons she's in and after the fall of Stannis one quickly forgives her, because of how defeated she suddenly is. Sure, we hope she can bring back Jon, but still it's crazy how you feel for her and even hope she finds new stength in her faith after bringing back Jon.
