When Heidi started on SNL she barely, if at all broke, but the past few years she been more comfortable and loose that she would slightly break, but she was totally destroyed by the writers and Ryan Gosling and especially Mikee Day here!
Watch Inside the Beltway sketch. A costume worker accidentally got on camera. Aidy tried to hold it together but lost it just as bad. The fact Cecily is cracking up right beside her off camera is what killed her.
I grew up in the 70s and 80s with SNL and The Carol Burnette show. When they broke character back then, it was when it was the funniest.. This skit was the first time I have laughed this hard at SNL in years.. lol
Honestly some of the best moments on SNL are when they break. A long time ago there was a show called the Carol Burnett Show which was a sketch comedy variety show and Carol Burnett said that they actively tried to make each other break character because they knew that what they were doing was working because the audience would laugh even louder.
The NBC make-up artists had a special dental device made for Mikey Day. During rehearsal, Heidi Gardner only saw preliminary make-up on the two actors. The prosthetics were not fully applied until just before the live skit. This is why Heidi broke character and couldn't stop laughing.
The dress rehearsal is at 8:30 and is always done in full costume. In this instance Mikey/Butthead's makeup was fixed between dress and air because they had issues during dress. So it was the first she saw this version of the makeup.
Not many realize that "Beavis and Butthead" and "King of the Hill" were both created by the same guy, Mike Judge (who also created "Office Space", "Idiocracy", and "Silicon Valley")
She actually seen him in that Butt-Head make up in dress rehearsal and laugh many times, its not her first time seeing it, but she still can't keep straight face even on aired version 😂
Actually the best part is when they break character. It means the skit is so good it's making the actors crack up. My favorite is still Chris Farley's "Van Down by the River" SNL skit. Chris had David Spade fighting not to laugh. I love watching that skit whenever I'm having a bad day because it immediately puts me in a good mood. I'd love to see you two react to that one. Laugh truly is the best medicine at least for me. 😁 Enjoyed the reaction. Liked and Subscribed 👍👍✌ out.
Thing that's really funny, and it was completely intentional, is that King Of The Hill was created by Mike Judge, the same genius behind Beavis & Butt-Head. It would've been next level awesomeness if they would've also had Daria in the audience👍
@@ReactToTheWorld and they were really laughing when the camera wasn't on them when Butthead was behind her, Ryan was laughing so hard he was holding himself trying not to make any noise.
Universal & Illumination should have a Beavis & Butthead movie! Chris Pratt should voice over Beavis & Edward Norton should voice over Butthead! And Jim Carrey should voice over Buzzcut & Will Ferrell should voice over Principal McVick!
This is why the Carol Burnett show was better than any sketch comedy of modern TV. She did not like people breaking either but no one could stop Tim Conway from making everyone on the cast laugh and specially Harvey Korman. Flat out some of the best comedy of the last 65 years of TV. The Elephant Joke is still my favorite. Get him Vicki Lawrence.

The way Heidi breaks when she turns and sees "Butt-Head" is just priceless 😂😂😂😂
Can't blame her! We're laffin as soon as Butt-Head entered the scene!
Butthead looking around and looking at her to see her expression was priceless as well
She never ever breaks, so the fact that she completely broke makes it even funnier.
Agreed! but who wouldn't LOL
Especially when she turned to look at Mikey Day.
Spot on 😜
When Heidi started on SNL she barely, if at all broke, but the past few years she been more comfortable and loose that she would slightly break, but she was totally destroyed by the writers and Ryan Gosling and especially Mikee Day here!
They kept it from her so she didn't know how they looked until they did the skit, that's why she broke so easy.
This is one of the funniest SNL skits I've seen in years! In the same class as The Californians!
When Heidi Gardener first saw Day in the Butthead makeup lol I've never seen anyone break character that long.
Watch Inside the Beltway sketch. A costume worker accidentally got on camera. Aidy tried to hold it together but lost it just as bad. The fact Cecily is cracking up right beside her off camera is what killed her.
This sketch literally made my stomach hurt 😂😂
Ha! Need tp for your bunghole?

The Dentist one was hilarious, as well as the Elephant story.
The BEST SNL skit ever!
It's that squint from Keenan that gets the whole thing going lol
I love the way that they are both so polite when they're asked to move. Just 2 normal, albeit very busy dudes 😂
Just two dudes on a mission, right?
Gosling adding the Beavis full-time 'grimace' would have taken it next level.
ryan gosling is,comedic genius

Makes sense now! She totally lost it!
Heidi had no idea. They weren't in makeup at rehearsal. Caught her completely by surprise.
I hope they make a live action beavis and butt head movie one day
Ha! Why not
I don't think anyone knew how the make up would look like. Heidi is priceless love that laugh of hers.
All hail The Great Cornholio!!!!!!
Are you threatening my bunghole?

This is the first time Heidi has ever lost it like this I cried watching this so many times laughing my ass off,

No one else in the audience broke character. Nerves of steel.

That's the funniest SNL skit ever!
Instant classic!
😁SO true - Facts (I can't stop watching it).
this is the first time I seen the cast all crack up like that.
12MAY24 both were Mike "Office Space ce "Judge cartoons
"...bach inn tha dej? Jimmy Fallon vasz onlj on inn itt's last 3 jears asz II riecall."
These pair have hilarious faces 😂 ...and I don't mean beavis and butthead 😂
Best cartoon ever. They should bring back the g.o.a.t.s
They did, On Paramount+ there’s a new movie and 2 new seasons
Lorne Michaels has no problem with them breaking and laughing. It's part of the charm of doing a live show.
Ahh remember them we got them a little later than the us
"M.C.U., vhat's that?"
Pretty cool honestly
The longest breaks ever in the history of SNL
"0:37 M.C.U.?"
omg that was funny.
You know you’ve made it when you’re a reaction🤣
Heidi Gardner made this blow up.
Ryan Gosling held it together.
Nah. He pretty much broke character from the start 😅
@@ReactToTheWorld and they were really laughing when the camera wasn't on them when Butthead was behind her, Ryan was laughing so hard he was holding himself trying not to make any noise.
I’m crying
That because the dress rehearsal they didn't have the makeup on. This was the first time heidi saw them in full makeup. That was her honest reaction!
So hilarious.
The SNL’s video was reversed. Heidi saw the final makeup results Live, per another video on youtube.
That explains it! LOL
Beavis & Butthead ⭐️⭐️💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻Rock!
Im gonna pee my pants.....😂😂😂!!!!....
Universal & Illumination should have a Beavis & Butthead movie! Chris Pratt should voice over Beavis & Edward Norton should voice over Butthead! And Jim Carrey should voice over Buzzcut & Will Ferrell should voice over Principal McVick!
I don't know if I know those cartoons? Au ha Au ha ha😂
I also know a guy who has met Mike Judge & Greg Daniels of King of the Hill
They couldn't have paid me enough money to not break during this skit
For real! I'd probably be laughing my head off the whole time!

Damn can he see?
Shout out to all the gen-Xers.
For some reason this kit makes me really thirsty
Yup, leave it to Bevis and Butthead to break SNL.
You guys gotta react to the doctor/cookie crumbles sketch with Ryan again. You can tell the whole cast broke character too.
Once you start laughing, it's hard to stop!
"Yeah, huh huh, um, that's what I do when I'm with a girl."
"Shut up Beavis. You've never been with a girl."
"Oh yeah. I forgot. Heh Heh. Um."
Now. More cowbell please.
Ren and Stimpy were funny also
OMG. Throwback!
You just brought me memories of Ren & Stimpy when Ren looses his teeth. I first caught asthma to that scene when he looks in the mirror the next day.
It's me again! Could i send y'all another music video request?

Ah, sketch comedy it is, then.
The black guy in the black and blue flannel looks like hes having outer body experience, trying not to laugh.

this lady is an absolute smokeshow.
Sketch, not skit.
Bill Hader couldn't keep a straight face either.

So, are you REALLY watching the skit for the first time NOW?
Now? Didn't it just come out like a week ago??
