How eagerly Joy took her younger sibling to help her mom out. What a great team you and your children are. For all the haters of the last cleaning video - Look and listen! This is how it’s supposed to work. And I d be willing to bet that when she asks her kids to clean their rooms on their own, help with laundry etc - they do! Because they ve grown up with hearts of servants because their mom has one. And all those kids helping with the garden and all doing the work of a grown up. God bless you all.

Bri had to turn off comments after a number of people criticized her for cleaning her house before the kids came home from time with their dad so she could just spending time with them. She did a video on it explaining how hurtful that was and why she had to disable commenting. So sad. Completely unnecessary to be so self-righteously critical, though. But she did say the greater majority of people were supportive.
Aww when you were talking to Justin at the end and said "its scary when your doing it yourself" I wanted to give you a big hug. It is going to be hard with 7 children a huge home and garden but take it slow. Your friends are there and they appear to love you and want to support you. You are a wonderful mom.

My husband died 8 years ago and I was instantly a single mother of anadopted 3 year old. The adoption was 5 weeks after the adoption was final..my daughter is the joy of my life. We moved to Minnesota so I would be surrounded by my family. Friends and family is everything g and relieves your stress when everything is on you.
There is nothing like community to remind you that you are not alone. This is the best environment for kids to flourish. Your garden will be as much a symbol of love and support as it will be a source of food..nourishment for the body and soul.

That was the most heartwarming loving thing any person can do is to help someone in need. I M 87 years old and i love justin rhodes . All of those sweet faces [ I watch everyday ] showed up to help. I cried it was so wonderful to me. Every one came to help even the sweet children. You all are wonderful.

This brought a tear to my eye! On our last move over 30 people showed up with vehicles and trailers and moved all our belongings in under 3 hours. This is a reminder of the goodness in friends and family! I am overjoyed that your garden came so far so fast! 🌞

Wow!!! I wish all single moms could feel this strong outpouring of love and support from their friends and community because it’s not what people say it’s what people DO THAT REALLY COUNTS!! Every single one of those people have a homestead of their own that requires daily maintenance and attention, and for them to spend half a day to help you like that is incredible!! Honestly I don’t know how you weren’t bawling my the entire time because tears were streaming down my face the whole time I watched thinking there is a woman that is blessed beyond measure and one thing I just know if you were needed to help any one of those people you would be there in a heartbeat to do for them whatever you could to lift them up as well. I think that’s the thing you need to focus on now is how you can keep paying it forward and keeping pushing your garden to the next stage because it will be without a doubt a place you can spend time and every minute you are in it I pray you feel the joy, happiness and love that you felt today.
