I think he deserves where he should be right now. Many bands have other guitarists playing for them live that are hidden backstage. At least Jason can live the concert at it's fullest and spread his name across the world. I think he deserves where he should be right now. Many bands have other guitarists playing for them live that are hidden backstage. At least Jason can live the concert at it's fullest and spread his name across the world. Not to mention the fact (i'm sure it's a true fact correct me if i'm wrong) that he doesn't record with them in the studios

Every instrument rings through and Billies voice maintains his signature nasality with the deeper, growly tones and ring that really make his voice special. Plus crowd noise is mixed in perfectly: the listener can clearly hear lyrics sung by crowd and it amplifies during each song’s climax. Of course, the mix is helped by the fact that Green Day kicks ass live.
Green Day’s production has really been the driver behind their success, their work is just so nice to listen to. I love how that trend carried over into live albums as well.
