hi, friend. Mexico City is the sixth safest in the country, for six years now, all of it! Obviously there are several more neighborhoods but the entire city is very safe. It has 80,000 cameras and a very good police organization. In addition, it has significantly increased its wealth and standard of living
Thanks for sharing those numbers, my friend! Yes, CDMX is truly a great place to visit, live, or spend part of the year.. the safety, food, culture, architecture and more are second to none! I’ve really enjoyed my time here. Thanks for watching! 🫶🇲🇽
LOL! literally 2:21 minutes into the video and you're surrounded by police..... "is Mexico safe?" 100% it's safe. I've visited Montterry, Cancun, Reynosa, Matamoros, Playa Del Carmen, Holbox and I have never had any issues. The people of Mexico are beyond caring and sweet. But like everything, every city has it's good areas and bad areas just like in Europe or the USA/Canada. People visiting Mexico literally need to use common sense to avoid areas that may "feel unsafe".
Yes, that timing was impeccable for the local PD haha 😆. Some police forces around the country are notoriously corrupt, but the law enforcement in CDMX has been nothing but fair, kind, and helpful toward us during our time here! Thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts my friend!
I have gone 10 years without a robbery and I live in the suburbs. At the Corona Capital concert I walked so drunk maybe 5 km to catch a bus and nothing happened. Of course, it was also luck.
Glad to hear you made it safely on the drunken walk 😬😜. Luck always comes into play and a little common sense for sure. The area where I finished the video IS ACTUALLY CONSIDERED UNSAFE BY LOCALS, according to my Uber driver. Walking around there alone, foreign, and with a camera out was a little risky. CDMX is beautiful, but my point was to illustrate that things can change quickly from barrio to barrio I.e. La Roma to Doctores, Doctores to Buenos Aires. Thanks for watching!
@@theropemonster yea, its moderately dangerous! advise for foreins: if you feel on danger, ther is camera poles with a S.O.S buttom in almost all the main and secundary streets of the city, push that buttom and you can talk whit the police. they can see you with the camera on live, . C5 CAMERAS its the name also its the earthquake alarm so you can recognize it by the white speaker on the top 😘
We've been here for just over a month and feel quite safe walking around at night! Gotta say we don't go into neighbourhoods that are considered unsafe.
@@theropemonster Yes, it’s quite a different vibe here😒been here for 2 years now and it’s just getting worse..crime is up as well🥺 Love your videos and they always give me good vibes so it’s my pleasure😌
To be fair, my Uber driver last night told me that part of Doctores bordering Buenos Aires where I filmed the last 10-15 minutes of the video is actually pretty unsafe. He was surprised that I was there filming. Thanks for checking out the video

Unfortunately I'd never step foot in Mexico. Place is too wild for me. I'm from Ireland

@@TheGeneral_LUFCoh i have a rommie from Ireland. He loves CDMX and Mexico in general, he said Ireland is kind a of boring and depressing

Debes estar hablando de una calle o colonia llamada Mérida, por qué de la ciudad no creo.

Safe as a big city like NYC, LA or Chicago.
