I'm doing my springs and shocks this week. It's great to see a proper "real life" video and not a garage with all the tools... Hope you are doing well Martin.
Had to do mine too after the bolt had snapped on the way to the just t4s camp! Now onto the oil leak near the turbo....the rust...the dodgy sliding door...etc..lol Great vids man...
+Houseless Not Homeless you'd swap the drop links because you lowered it or because they were worn? Not seen any mention of the stock links not coping with dropping it by 4cm?
Not too bad just hearing it as not a normal noise sometimes. It's by no means slammed so I doubt it gone so loose it's knocking on anything. Still It can be reset by windng it back up.

Axle stands needed. Relying on a hydraulic seal not failing ( on your not new trolley jack) is risking death!
cheers martin just having to raise my t4 and remembered watching your video a while ago. refreshed in brain on with the job

PLEASE use jacks!!!
Seen lift only work to often gone bad.
Здравствуйте. Скажите что за пружины? Они с занижением? Амортизаторы какие?
Shouldn't the springs go clockwise from the bottom?
Big thanks for this did mine all round made it easy
Thanks mate,
I bought myself some new springs and needed to know how to replace them!
Enjoy your T4 mate.
The tutorial is very good. Where are those tires from?
I'm pretty sure I need to do mine as there is signs of corrosion on the springs and seems to be lower on one side. Think I'll give this a go myself
How long will the new shocks last now ?
I'm guessing red spring = lowered van.? Doing the same tomorrow.
+Houseless Not Homeless no video on the front process? Starting tomorrow with this bit first then rear springs once I've got the front settled.

I can't say if the front of the van is slightly noisier over bumps since I lowered it. It could be the kitchen behind that's noisy.
