After watching this video, do you fancy staying in a mountain hut?😃🏠

No, not really- I think camping is a much better option.

@@adriandavid970 Why do you prefer camping?🙂🏕️

@@OurSwissAdventure Because of all the inconvenients you mentioned in the video (which you wouldn't have if you were to camp)...

      @@adriandavid970 Fair enough! 🙂
Do you do some camping in Switzerland? Just wondering about what's been your experience with it and if you have any advice.

@@OurSwissAdventure I have done some campings in Switzerland, yes- only good experiences until now. If you want to do WILD camping (yes, it is allowed- "above the tree line")- you can watch some of the videos of this guy (Swiss Humanity Stories): th-cam.com/channels/_118z8aP2iHAfagNfLWaPA.html

I have actually never stayed at the mountain hut, so this is very useful. Thanks for all this information Erika!

You're welcome! Do you thing you'd like to try it out one day or still not sold on it haha?

@@OurSwissAdventure Probably will try it at some stage in the future, but I'll definitely wait until the little guy is big enough for such 2-day hikes. :)

@@SlovenianGirlAbroad That's understandable! Some huts are actually very child-friendly. I think Swiss Family Fun was talking about that in her blog.

@@OurSwissAdventure Oh yes, Swiss family fun blog is such a great source of information and inspiration. I love her vlogs too. :)

From Canada here. Planning on hiking the Alps for 1 month and staying at different huts along the way

Wow, that's a long trip! That would definitely be a memorable experience.😊 Do you have any specific routes or hikes in mind? I recommend you look into Via Alpina, I think you'd enjoy that.
