    I like this video, I think it would be a great intro to a longer video with some game play footage. This deck is, while not iconic, an underplayed OS staple and deserves more attention. GOOD JOB! ;-)

      Thanks and glad you liked the video. I made top 4 with this deck in a recent event and plan to release the videos of the matches at some point

    Awesome video PJ! Hope you keep making more vids. Thinking about giving this a spin in the next monthly.

      I definitely haven’t stopped but just taking a break for a bit because I’m super busy and have been having some internet issues

    Also turning the opponents maze of ith into a black card seems like a spicy play your deck can make.

    It's a real shame that there aren't more protection from black creatures in old school, the only other one being Wall of Light.
    I love the addition of the Against This section of the video. Good to know what possible weaknesses the deck has. Keep up the good work!

    That's an excellent point! I always thought Abyss was a sacrifice effect. Good stuff....now if I had just a few grand laying around to buy a set. 🤣

      Yeah it's so weirdly worded on the card I also thought it was 'at the beginning of each players upkeep that player sacs a non artifact creature' apparently not. It's kind of cool flavour wise and woulldnt exist if the cards were made today.

      @@IPlayMagic Can you post a clearer photo of it? It’s difficult to see what each card is. I’m referring to the 2nd deck photo.

      @@bendimiero380 it should be the same as the written down list at the end

    How can we get a list of the cards in the deck? The picture isn't really clear to be able to see how many of each card is in the deck

    • @IPlayMagic
      @IPlayMagic  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There's a written list at the end of the video that shows exactly what's in the deck

    Is there a way to give indestructible in the format because that sounds like that would also work.

      There is to a land that you can then turn into a creature but I’m not sure if it’s possible any other way

    Old school looks so fun, but man, some of those cards are crazy expensive. :(

      In this deck the abyss is very expensive. But if you play in the X point format then old school is actually very affordable because of the point system that limits powerful cards. There are several good choices for using your point allowance that are super cheap and if you buy cards from chronicles, 5th edition etc it's very easy to build a super top tier deck for $100-200. You won't play cards like abyss or lotus but you will be on a similar power level to the people who do own all of that stuff because they are also limited to only 10 points in deck construction
