Porini Amboseli Camp is an award-winning safari camp in Kenya located in the exclusive Selenkay Conservancy, an important wildlife dispersal area for animals moving out of the Amboseli National Park. The camp has 10 spacious guest tents including two family tents and eight standard-sized tents. Each of the guest tents has a private veranda outside, a flush toilet and a hot shower available. Guests at the camp get to view the big tuskers of Selenkay Conservancy and other animals who drink water at a waterhole near the camp from raised platforms overlooking the waterholes.
Selenkay Conservancy is a 12,500-acre private community-owned land in the heart of the Maasai community near Amboseli. All big cats have been seen in the conservancy as well as elephants and a wide range of species including large numbers of Zebra, giraffes, and antelopes. There are also less common animals that may be seen such as the long-necked gerenuk gazelle, lesser kudu, and African Wildcat.
