2021 Christmas Boat Parade: Become Part of the Parade!

As the Santa Claus Boat made it's way down the Grand Canal during the 2021 Christmas Boat Parade, the members of the Banana River Sail and Power Squadron (long-time sponsor of the event) filmed the event as seen by the parade boats. This video captures a perspective that you'll never see unless you actually participate in the parade.
The video starts with a view of the port side of the boat and after a few minutes shows both port and starboard sides as the lead boat makes it's way south on the canal. You can see that the viewers on shore did an outstanding job of decorating their houses this year!
The Banana River Sail and Power Squadron (aka America's Boating Club of South Brevard) is an organization dedicated to promoting superior boating education, civic activities, and fellowship. Here is a link to their website: www.brsps.org

Wow...I liked the split-screen! I enjoyed the Xmas light display from the residents and boats from both sides of the canal at the same time as if I were on that big Santa Clause boat. I remember the moon, wind, and choppy water that day. Some of the paddlers had a hard time on the water until they got to the canal. I would like to thank the residents along the canal for letting us paddle through the canal and big boaters for steering their boats cautiously around paddlers. Thank you for your professional editing as always!

A good time was had by all. It's just a really fun event that does not get much of an audience outside of the residents of the canal.
