I like this feature on my Macan, but I wish there was a button to activate it too. It's not always easy to get the brake press correct to activate the hold. A button would be easier.

How do you turn it off now? I was on an incline and I guess I activated the hold button by accident by doing what u just did. I want to turn the feature off now.

The Hold function will automatically activate when on an incline of 5 degrees or more. Simply press on the accelerator pedal when the car is using the Hold function to release the hold and begin driving forward or in reverse. This function cannot be turned off.
