The Cyclemotor Run from Radcot Bridge

  • Not being the owner of a “Cyclemotor” or Moped, I still decided to ride out to Radcot Bridge near Farringdon - incidentally the oldest bridge in the River Thames - to see the bikes and ask if I could follow them around their route which they kindly agreed. There were a few issues and breakdowns on route, the most significant that I saw was James losing power on his “James” motorcycle with the Villiers engine - a lovely old bike that eventually gave up the ghost near Swinbrook and had to be recovered.
    A lovely ride out with a very nice, friendly bunch!

    Great video. British bikes being used for enjoyment not held prisoners in a dusty shed or worse still a museum. Fly the flag and ride them dont hide them and certainly dont polish them. Great stuff.
