The New Zealand All Blacks (a rugby team) have a lot of Maori players and they do this before every game! They usually go undefeated to say the least! It's amazing to see
This never gets old. I love how the Fehokos felt it important to share their culture with the LSU community in this way. There are not a lot of Polynesian people in Louisiana and this gives those who are from there to have an appreciation for something of another culture, that is just beautiful. As an LSU alum, I am proud of how the people of Louisiana have shown their appreciation and respect for this young man, his family and his culture.
@@Dabeaken bullshit cuz half of the all blacks team isnt maori and yet they do the haka. There are tongans and samoans on that team plus alot of white people. If you are gonna claim you have to be maori to do it you need to look at your own first
Hopefully Breiden's career inspires more Samoan, Fijians, Hawaiians, etc... to come play at LSU. An untapped pipeline of athletes I've been hoping somebody in Baton Rouge take advantage of!!!!
With Coach O, LSU has a good chance, I'm sure he still had contacts from all the hotspots on the west coast and Hawaii from the time he was recruiting coordinator at USC.
Lol y’all got him as a transfer. If he didn’t pick Texas Tech, he would’ve been at a west coast school. He wanted to follow his brothers to TTU though. Please don’t think y’all are starting a pipeline in Louisiana... west coast and mountain west schools have that on lock
Good thing we don't have to deal with a Plumlee in the playoffs. I feel better about our chances with him remaining in Oxford. Keep that man away from our defense, they still waking up in the middle of the night with cold sweats lol
very classy rj - ignore frustrated LionsAllday Detroit - you have 77 to 0 likes, not to mention a boatload of automakers heading to the SEC to build cars
Texas tech red raider fan here. I was so bless and honored to have met this young man and his beautiful mother and father when he was at Tech. But before he came to Tech, one of his brothers (can’t remember which one of the 2 that came and played for tech), he and their father did the haka for us at our tailgate booth durning the open spring game. This just brought tears to my eyes. WAY TO GO BREIDEN!!!
I think it was Sam who attended Tech, Vj was sopposed to go to Tech but went to Utah. Their eldest brother Whitley went to San Diego State... All D-1 schools...
They go back and visit Lubbock all the time. They don’t even have any family members on the team anymore. If u know them, their saying is FOE (Family over everything)
I've been watching haka's before sporting events for years, and they still give me goosebumps every time. There's so much power in them, even without understanding the languages.
Scott Perry it’s sure setting up for a great matchup but we need to win Saturday first. Our team nor the fans are looking that far ahead because we want the SEC title first. If the Buckeyes and the Tigers handle business, the next couple games, we will then go at it. Good luck on y’all’s end. GEAUX TIGAHS!
I love their culture and every time I see their Haka. I'm just in tears. The love they have for one another is just beyond amazing and it doesn't always have to be by blood. The Maori People are just my kind of people❤❤. I will be moving my family to New Zealand sooner than later.
Another beautiful oddity on a team filled with transfers, 3 stars, young dogs teaching old dogs new tricks, the under appreciated, the discounted and a Cajun dude some listed as a D-line coach for the rest of his days on Gods green earth. The traditional dance/cheer/signal for the other team to run away we just watched will have its own chapter in the “book”. I love my LSU TIGERS and I LOVE MY LOUISIANA. GEAUX TIGAHS!
It’s odd to see other cultures just adopt the haka like it’s there own, do they understand the meaning behind it? They’re going hard but it’s not even the same language, country or people...
I went to a texas tech camp back when he went there and him and his brother showed this to all the kids and it was awesome! Great memory and I wish him the best!
Samoan and Islander people are cool people to talk and chill with. Even though they are largely huge people they have a warm heart. I may be wrong, but I met some nice Island people.
Who disliked this? OU fans are y’all in here? LEAVE NOW!!! Hell idk how this showed up in my recommendation videos but why not. I want to do this everywhere now.

They should have had them do this on the field before the game. The crowd would have lost it.
Sheeeeeeiiiiit!!! I lost it just now!!!!!
RobdaVegasMailman are you trying to make Death Valley collapse
RobdaVegasMailman
😂 Tiger Stadium would literally become the Roman Colloseum
Bryan Daly Death Valley survived an earthquake. It can survive anything 😉

So true
Only cause he on the football team tbh
@@Dabeaken I'm pretty sure that they're not "copying" a haka.

Tears me up Everytime, alot people don't understand how deep these chants actually are.
Most people are stupid. But this...this is on another level. Absolutely phenomenally brilliant.
I don't understand the language but the energy brings me to tears everytime. #respect
Man that is just beautiful. Truly something special. I will miss this dearly

Good luck my ducks got that lock down.
You right about that..their some large big boned people..solid muscles for good offence and defence

I'm a #Bama fan but I love watching these videos with his Dad #Pride#Tradition I damn near got emotional myself
Soooo this is why they kicked our ass....... Haka is always special RTR!

@@mattnorris7124 Come visit us in the Bay Area (Cali) we be doing Samoan, Tonga, Fiji, and Maori Hakas all the time ✊
This brings tears to my eyes, no matter how many times I watch it.
Second day in a row I watch that in the morning man that's 💯 powerful.
Dawg fan here. Chills everytime I see this.
Man I can't believe I was there and met his dad, I got a video coming up too
Cool
Awsome
Bunch of fuckwits stealing maori culture doing it wrong
Nobody cares
That’s how Lane Kiffin reacted when Nick Saban fired him
I consider the HAKA to be amongst the most beautiful things of our world. A display of love, courage, reverence, and support in every word.
Im a buckeye fan but absolutely love Coach O, Borough and the entire university of LSU. Can't wait to see you guys in the national championship

Wonderful!
You guys are fearless and beautiful culture. God bless and blessings your way.
Americans be like “that’s such a cool dance”
It is a cool dance tho
Arthur Morgan no it’s not
Guapo that’s disrespectful
AND??? We know it is a cultural and ceremonial war dance. The only one showing their ignorance is you.
@@DoctorGaga87 as a Mexican we don't claim you. Us Mexicans appreciate other's cultures especially a badass one like this.
I hope this man makes the roster, keep grinding and working brother 🤞🏽 I know god got you, welcome to the Bolt family

I’m not gonna lie, I had to look up what the Haka Dance was and represented. This is great to see, proud and ready
MAAAAD RESPECT TO HIS CULTURE! Gave me chills!
The Haka is not his culture the Haka comes from the Māori people of New Zealand is he from there?
If my family don't meet me like this keep walking!
Hearty congratulations Breiden Feihoko and family👏👏💪💪💪All the way🙏🙏
Welcome to Pittsburgh bro . Steeler nation is going to love you and your family.
If they win the CFP Championship, this is a *must* celebration in the middle of the field
Is Breiden part Māori/from NZ? Cause that haka "Ka Mate" is originally from NZ.
Other said he is Hawaiian, IDK actually
He’s full blooded Tongan and should be doing the “sipi tau” which is the Tongan haka. This haka is from New Zealand.
It’s odd to see other cultures just adopt the haka like it’s there own, do they understand the meaning behind it? They’re going hard but it’s not even the same language, country or people...
Brieden and myself had classes. Texas Tech together before he transferred to LSU. Really cool and genuine all around stand up guy
Need to see this every morning to get fired up for a long day at work
