It really depends; if you buy your ticket early, could be like $290 or late $395. If you're camping at the event; whether with a tent, in your car or your own RV, it's FREE. But if you decide to stay at an hotel; maybe $500 or so... If you bring your own Food, it's on you, but if you plan to only eat at the event; bring a few hundred bucks. (Drinks are FREE with your ticket purchase). That's the basic... everything else is extra if you want to buy merchandise from the gift store or armor from the vendors
@@therichtershow I'm being convinced to rent an RV and have another person drive it down so we have a place to stay that won't fly to OZ in the middle of the night. I'll bring SOME food and I don't eat much anyway, but yeah, I'll likely buy some food there. (Gotta get my Dinki Dive patch) I'm not much of a maker yet so I would likely buy something. Beyond that I want to do quite a bit of questing and wansering.
that sounds like a great plan, the experience is better when staying at the event itself. Here's a tip; you can use the porta potties at the event and save yourself some water in the RV. Not only can you buy items for your costume but some venders are willing to do trades, so bring some things you can possible use are barter. @@glennmorganfan9411
@@therichtershow Oh absolutely!! When I go far for an event I don't like to leave the grounds. YEP!! I have heard that bartering is a big thing there and I've been looking for stuff. I also heard caps were a big thing, but I'm now seeing that they have to be SPECIAL and personalized instead of just ordinary caps so I'll figure out that part later.
