I'm a carpenter. I usually watch videos of people building things. I'm awestruck by the skill presented here. I love watching a Master of their craft do their thing.
Anyone who says this is unskilled likely has never worked in a restaurant, let alone a kitchen. The skills here are consistency, timing, memorization, and knowing all of the recipes. They may be simple in concept but execution can be tough
You are absolutely correct. He is excellent at turning out the food. His food quality, however, is inconsistent and sometimes mediocre. He weigh, overcooks his eggs, he really doesn’t scramble his scrambled eggs, he puts cold cheese from that cooler directly onto an omelette or into a burrito without giving it a chance to melt or even warmup. He does know bad looking tomato slice when he sees one and I appreciate that, and it’s not an easy job as you say. I don’t think he has been to culinary school, but he is very very very good at turning out the orders. I would hire him in a minute, and just train him about some finer points.
i did this damn near every day for 8 years, life happened and I found a new career. It's officially been one year since I've left the kitchen. Watching your videos brings me peace; a calm. When I sit here and watch you during a rush, I start to get that feeling again, that thrill, the increased heart rate. There's truly nothing like being a chef. Thank you for sharing this. Much love.
The work you do is skilled . Anyone that doesn't think that should try it . I'm a HD . Mechanic it's hard work but I respect those that cook for us when we have a lunch break . Keep up good work.
The work you do is VERY MUCH SKILLED. I enjoy cooking but this is next level. I honestly cant say I would be able to do this, especially during a rush. Also, I love these hour long videos. Keep them coming! Very relaxing watching you do work son!!!
I love the longer videos!! It’s so satisfying to watch you work. This is very much a skillful profession and it takes a lot of patience to do this especially all by yourself.
He’s very fast and efficient, and that club sandwich looked delicious! But really overcook his eggs and the bacon is cold! And he doesn’t melt the cheese in omelettes…… that sausage, egg sandwich, and he left the sausages whole? They should’ve been chopped up so they would stay in one place in the mayonnaise. He couldn’t even cut it in half without some of it falling out. How would somebody supposed to eat it?. he is so fast and steady, he really cranks out the food…… But if he went to any any cooking school, his egg orders would look completely different. Still, how wonderful to know that 44,000 people are watching you work…… That’s truly amazing. I worked in a kitchen, and I don’t think anybody would ever have watched me. He doesn’t appear to ever get rattled. If he’s got a lot of orders up, he still moves at a wonderful paceand seems calm and collected. I would hire him in a minute.
Was just telling my husband last night that “this guy has skills” you make it look so easy. And you do it all by yourself chopping fresh ingredients and everything is cooked to order. I think you have mad skills!
i would say highly skilled job for sure. The amount of food that you have cooking simultaneously while nothing ends up over or under-cooked is very skilled. I really enjoy watching you work your magic.
People are saying the job is easy because people like you make it look easy. But you're 100% right. Most people don't last once they realize what it actually takes to be in your shoes.
This takes mental calculation, Alex your years of experience and a lot of common sense timing and visual, thanks for your videos. Unskilled? Burnt food people waiting for there orders, this takes skill. The compliments from the customers stokes your inner self.
If you haven't tried it already...when I cooked for the military we always made french toast with a tsp of vanilla extract, a bit of white sugar, and cinnamon. 👌😁
As a cook myself who has worked in high end to short order ., I tell you i seen hundreds of escuelita cooks melt with less than 5 orders on their line 😂 . Fresh out of culinary schools and cant handle a single station and with weeks to adapt they rather quit 😢. I takes a real man to remain cool , effective and maintain culinary standards. 90% of the cooks that have come from skilled restaurants fail to manage a busy line 😂 . Keep up the good work 👏 🎉
I love this channel man I watch your videos everyday something about it is very calming and I love the food you cook thank for all your hard work bro keep the vids coming ❤
Extra Crispy hash browns muy bueno! All that bacon grease being wasted just hurts my soul! That is liquid gold.... Unskilled? Nonsense... I enjoyed watching, hasta luego...
My grandfather was not only the cook but also the restaurant manager/supervisor for the owner. I know how hard a job it was and is from the stories I was told by Granddaddy and my daddy (his son).
Yess I am late to the party BUT unskilled my arse!! Some folks can't break an egg much less cook one and do 10+ other things at a time! You are good and should know it and show it. This old woman will ride shotgun with ya, lol! ❤
Is that clarified butter you ladel on the grill and in the pans or is it just oil? Awesome videos, they are so soothing to watch! Good job my friend, you have skills many people only dream of having in the kitchen. God bless 🙏 you brother❤
It takes a chemistry of things. passion, skill, organization, and good muscle memory. You got this muscle memory thing down in your kitchen. You could probably do it with your eyes closed. It would take somebody some time to get as precise as you are. But this goes for many jobs.
Who ever said unskilled is a piece of shit the only thing that can cook is microwavable meals. Dude keep up the great work. Your more skilled then any pro sports player!
I love to cook and have been looking for a great knife! I can't afford a knife like that but would certainly like the opportunity to win one. You do a great job in the kitchen. 40 burritos right in the morning was crazy! Nicely done
i freaking love these videos! and appreciate when you explain what your doing 😂 … Also if these were 8 hrs long, id watch 😅 keep up the amazing work! viewer from ireland🇮🇪
The only unskilled job is hiding behind a screen and saying "you have an unskilled job". Internet is overwhelmed with attention grabbers. Coming from a breakfast resteraunt - this IS the definition of skill. Consistency, timing, and food safe. My man has it handled over here.
My wife keeps attempting to get your double egg flip down; what is the mixture you use to ladle into your pans or onto the flat top? Help a guy out...we are going through eggs like crazy and there's only 2 of us lol. Much respect to your hard work and videos
Bro get your wife a Vollrath 8” pan I promise you won’t have to worry about the oil-butter. But if you wanna know… it’s called “Phase Gold” coconut oil
How are you catching the little grammar errors and stuff like 40+ minutes deep? Are you watching the entire thing for quality control and editing? Impressive dedication!
i have just found your videos and i am impressed i have worked in kitchens and i know how rushed it can get ,and that is with a rew of people . you working alone and you work so smoothly . so i am subscribing and if you are still offering a knife i hope i might e considered ...john
I feel as though very few jobs are unskilled. Everything has its own challenges. Even security guard who guard nothing have the task with doing nothing for 8 hours. That’s a skill.
You're absolutely right, and thank you for recognizing it. I'm a third shift security guard for a hospice center. While it has its challenges (grief hits people in weird ways) the hardest part of my job sometimes is staying awake 😅
Looks all really good, just curious about seasoning. Is that a you let the customer do it themselves or am I missing something? Anyway thanks for the vid and definitely not an unskilled job!
I hope you can fire the dishwsher, if not, it seems like he's going to be making your life difficult for a long time. BUT make no mistake...you ARE a professional.

Breakfast is the easiest to cook, but the hardest to be good at
I could not agree more!
The 🐐 is back. Keep making 1 hour+ long videos they are the best!
you're the GOAT
@@CocineroMX no you!
A person who is doing what he loves. Really enjoy watching your videos.
Glad you like them!
Anyone that says cooking is an unskilled job has never even cooked for themselves let alone professionally
I was a short order cook at a small breakfast place. The difference between cooking at home and there was something most people can't contemplate.
@@RTCMAHL Most people can't contemplate cooking at home.
"unskilled job" is just something made up by capitalists to justify poverty wages, period.
Cracking an egg into the trash... Been there, done that.... Sh*t happens. LOL!
