    I loved that you didn’t trim your video but sped it up when walking from metro to cafe. Nice touch for someone like me who is trying to see what everyday feels like.

      Hey Sayda! Thank you so much☺️❤️ I’m actually working as a freelance UX designer for an American company and I give online English classes for supplemental income. I did the aux program for 2 years, then did a masters program, then did pareja de hecho with my partner which let me get a 5 year residency card (to legally live and work in Spain). While you’re here aupairing you can start looking into jobs and ask for visa sponsorship, but tbh it’s hard to do because it’s expensive for companies and there’s a lot of paperwork. But you could look into the “auxiliar de conversación” program and/or take Spanish classes and/or do a masters and/or try and get the freelance visa if you have enough freelance work. Check out the blog and instagram “Spanish is the milk.” She’s an American with a lot of helpful info (even if you’re not from the US)!

      @@Claire__Quinn Thank you so much for the information! I am trying to do some English tutoring / teaching while I'm there to get my foot in the door for a potential longer-term opportunity! Having a freelance or remote job would be ideal though! I just graduated with a degree in Graphic Design actually! But it's hard to find a position that is freelance and not just remote! Thanks again for the suggestion!

      @@Claire__Quinn hey I’m in the aux program now and renewing for a second year bc I don’t want to leave! I was looking at masters programs in Spain. Did you do yours in Madrid?

    • @Claire__Quinn
      @Claire__Quinn  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@elisabeths9745 Hey I did mine in BCN! I recommend staying in the same region tho because switching regions was a headache and I've heard that a lot of people get denied when trying. If you do go that route, make sure you get a letter from your current boss saying how the masters program is related to your current job. I've heard of people getting rejected for not having that.
