FX's biggest issue is that their magazines are specifically engineered to take only diabolo style pellets and not bullets style slugs. This limits their range, and in my opinion, their overall usefulness. They are high quality machines, and as such cost a pretty penny. The drawback I mentioned essentially limits them to pesting or small game hunting. Even excluding firearms, there are plenty of lower priced pcp air rifles that will perform similarly without costing $2k.
@@DarkMatterX1what? They have specific slug barrels that are ahead of any other pcp company. I’ve seen them hunting prairie dogs at over 200 yards and potions and doves around there as well. Also sun moa groups past 100. Most of the slug hunting/shooting that I’ve seen is with FX. Idk what your talking about, they’re by far the most advanced in every way. As in pellets and slugs they have the best.
After slowing the video down and taking screenshots it looks like he's running 350 PSI but as capable of 550 PSI and has a 10 shot capacity 22 caliber pellet in the clip before he has to reload. As a comparison approximately 45 years ago when I was a teenager I had a CO2 air that looked like it was shaped like a 410 shotgun it had a 6 short clip I can shoot six clips through it before I head to replace the cylinder. It was also a .22 caliber it would shoot the .22 caliber at 620 ft per second. It was good for shooting target practice and smal birds and squirrel out to about fifty yards was very quiet. It was made by crosman I don't remember the model wish I still had it was a lot of fun I could give it to my grandkids now. So I hope you enjoyed my comparison at least between my old school and the new stuff that's in this video. So I hope this individual continues to rock on which is air rifle setup sweet I enjoyed the trip down memory lane. please have respect for things like this because it can hurt you very bad depending on where you get shot, my gun and this gun no toys! Air rifles have come a long way since we were kids dude. The AEA Zeus comes in .58 and .72 calibers. The .58 will horl a 525gr bullet at 1025fps and generates more muzzle energy than an AR-15. There are .25 caliber pcp pistols that generate higher muzzle energy than .25ACP pocket pistols. I own a .357 caliber pcp rifle that generates 9mm levels of muzzle energy. Modern air rifles are great because they're cheap to shoot. I probably fire my pcps more than mu powderburners these days if only because it helps me stay reasonably proficient on a budget.

They're definitely high quality machines, but not worth the asking price due to the intentional drawbacks I mentioned.

It's Bar, not psi. 1 Bar ~ 14.7 psi. That's the absolute tank pressure, and the regulator pressure. Tank's max pressure is 250 Bar, or about 3600psi.
