Much appreciated! Yeah we put a lot of effort into getting into position. So, it can be a tough sell to talk yourself out of a bear with so much invested. Thanks again for the kind words and for watching. I’ll be wearing the black bear pursuit hat this spring. So we’ll see if that attracts the bigger ones 😜
All those bears have long necks and small chests , that indicates small bear a big bear has a massive chest with what looks like no neck and ears are on the outer sides of his head and small for its body .
It is in the plans again this year, we have several friends with good Oregon tags too - going to be a busy spring for us! In general we were a little late on this hunt as ideally you want to follow the snow melt and green up. Every year seems to be a bit different based on the area you are in and how the access, weather, and melt off is.
Measure them with the reticle in the scope before the shot either the distance between the ears or nose to tail .I admit that thay are hard to judge that's why I take measurements first.
That’s a great tip! We got that same suggestion after last season too, and plan on using that method this spring. Hope your season is successful and thanks for watching!
Great footage guys! Well done on two beautiful bears!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great film guys. Be proud of those bears you worked hard for them. Nicely done 👊🏼

Awesome hunt! Great job!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome video guys.
Appreciate it! Thanks for watching
Good job. So hard to tell size. The biggies will come!
Sounds like where I hunted in Lolo a couple years ago! Over 20 ticks in 24 hours.
That sounds horrible. Hope it was a fun trip otherwise!
Good stuff
Glad you enjoyed!
What brand and model of tent is that? Good hunt lads, well done
Glad you enjoyed it: this shelter is the seek outside eolus. It may no longer be available.
Don’t put too much emphasis on the size of those bears. You worked hard and were rewarded in the end.
Much appreciated. Yeah it was definitely a lot of fun and work. But absolutely worth it.

Good tips to keep in mind. Sure is fun, and we keep learning more every time we go!
Nice job! Are you going back this year and which part of the season do you prefer?
