"I don't know who created the genre.." Led Zeppelin created the genre. The most imitated band in history. Work through the albums in chronological order taking in the live performances of those songs as you go. Well worth looking at is the Radio Danmark performance from January 1969. Their first televised live performance I believe. Raw, mercurial and prescient of the greatness to come.
Yes all 3 are still alive! They could never go on without Bonham 😢 Want to see them older? They did a one night charity concert in 2007 called Celebration Day and they were in their 60s. They had John Bonhams son Jason play hus drum kit. Check out Kashmir fro. CELEBRATION DAY!!
The movie the footage is from is Called "Led Zeppelin The Song Remains The Same" in case ya wanted to know Thanx for your reaction & try not to let anyone get ya down on your musical journey **RockON!!!**
I own this movie The song remains the same. I know I can go on You tube and watch but the whole movie is memorizing it's a must see.Since I've been loving you from this concert is a must. Stairway to Heaven too live is a whole different deal❤😂
They crush everything they do, that’s why they are the greatest. Ignore most of the crap people say. The movie is on TH-cam, it’s called The Song Remains The Same. You can buy rent or watch with short ads. I saw it decades ago when it came out in theaters, & just watched the free with ads last week. The big majority of songs from Madison Square Gardens are in it, each member did kind of a play (don’t know what else to call it), but they show them performing too. You get to see Pages long version of Dazed & Confused amazing. Sometimes you have to look for the lives, but some say just audio. Thanks once again for reacting to my favorite band, hope you keep going. Though all members are the greatest, Plants vocals are definitely Killer. Yes Plant Page & JPJ are still alive. Plant still performs, & has really won many awards etc. him & Page toured in the 90’s for about 2 years. JPJ does more behind the scenes with other bands etc. I believe Page has played in some other bands. Sadly Plants vocals aren’t what the once were, but still better then most singers, & no fake crap either. If you have time, many of their interviews are very interesting, you learn a lot, & Plant is pretty funny. Try Achilles Last Stand, it’s an amazing song, I’m not sure what you’ve listened to. You can’t go wrong really with any, there’s very few you might not be as crazy about. I have like 2, but they aren’t ones that suck.
I'll tell you who is who and a little about them so if you do more you feel more like you can see what is happening/ Jimmy Page founded the band. He played in the sessions (the musicians who play on records for artists. They do everything). And then joined the Yardbirds - who is important in Zeppelin history. They are known as the group that had the 3 top guitarists of rock. First was Eric Clapton. When he left they got Jeff Beck. Then Jimmy page. Jimmy is seen as the best guitarist in rock. While Hendrix was a magician with a guitar he was only active as name player for 2 years before dying from Heroine. Member of the 27 club. Page was in yardbirds about a year and half before they imploded. He was left with having to fulfill commitments in Scandinavia as Yardbird so had to put a band together in a month., Page had a vision for a harder rocking band as well. He pulled in John Paul Jones from Sessions who was a musical genius and plays keys and bass. Page ended up finding this unknown singer in the north of England named Robert Plant. Plant turned out to be one of the best singers, tied with Freddie Mercury of Queen for best singer of the rock era. Plant turned Jimmy onto his friend John Bonham for drums. And Bonham turned out to change rock drums forever as well as is considered the best drummer since the big band era of Gene Kruppa and Buddy Rich. All four are GOATs
NOBODY is better than Zeppelin!! I have a channel...i never post or upload but if you look...i have EVERYTHING ZEPPELIN on it!! The full one is on there! I have over 1000 videos!
Dude, you're crushing these reactions. You be you and your tribe will find you. You mention Robert Plant's "classic rock tone" and asked "who created the genre"? You are watching the answer right here. This is what rock sounded like because everyone else was trying to sound like Led Zeppelin. But NOBODY has been able to cover Black Dog successfully (not even Miley Cyrus 🤣). Geddy Lee (Rush) once said he was blown away by Black Dog and said no other lead singer had enough balls to attempt anything like it.
Love it buddy! Thanks. Yeah this song is definitely a classic and that's the thing, I feel like people can't replicate this type of music. They are too different
Reaction fans are passionate about reactions. That's it. We all have our preferences. For ME? I always prefer studio for Led Zep. I like reactors to hear how Zep truly intended it to sound. So often, LIVEs just don't do that. ESPECIALLY on "Whole Lotta Love" I don't remember if I checked yours out or not, at this time. (I follow SO many reactors). But if you did the LIVE one of that one, I probably was a whiner. LOL. Doesn't change the fact that I love your channell, and I'm a subscriber, and I'm sure I thumbs upped it anyway.
Hiya you really need to listen to kashmir, the immigrant song, moby dick. The latter 1s all live are better bonzos son Jason took over the drums, another brill star in the making, luving the reactions. ❤❤❤
"since I've been loving you"from Madison square garden is a must 😊
"Rock and Roll" and "Since I've been loving you" are in this concert and worth a reaction.
Greatest live band in history!
Since I've been loving you from the same concert.

Led Zeppelin created the genre. They were the first heavy rock band and everyone else tried to follow.
