    I think it isn't really "guilt", it's "shame". "Guilt" implies that they really learned from their lessons. The fact that the Porajmos, the genocide against the Roma, is forgotten by many Germans and racism against them is still prevelant, should be a good indication on this. Scholz also severed ties to Russia but now he wants to be seen as the "peace chancellor" for some reason. Germans in higher governmental positions really seem to do these bizarre things to appease outsiders, especially Israel.

      Du warst auf einer deutschen Schule und dort wurde im Geschichtsunterricht der Genozid gegen die Sinti und Roma behandelt.
