Ah Interesting Idea, to make the "belt" like the Track of a Tank and then only have Ball Bearings on each side. It will also not feel that hard to step on since the boards have a slight flex to them, compared to normal Treadmills where you basically walk on a ribbon that is dragged over a non-flexible board.
@@ankurmadaan Well I am looking into Treadmills. But the thing I dislike is basically broken down the commercial ones have a Board that a Belt is pulled over by two Rolls. This design is bad, you need to lubricate the belt and use some metal cover for the board or it rubs off too fast, way too much friction not to forget that you basically run on a very hard surface. Running on Concrete or (Tar)Road is bad for your back and knees, running on earth or gravel is much better. I've seen other designs where they use Tubes over the whole area which is good, not too much friction but since those Tubes are Steel but then you still feel like running on Concrete. In your design one could choose very "springy" boards that not break when you run on them ... helping with back and knee problems. I think even just walking on them would feel allot better then normal Treadmills. Unless you buy a super expensive one lol.
