Well, be glad you were young when music was actually creative, unique, and IMPORTANT. Today's kids don't have any idea what a thrill it was to await a band's next album, go to the record store and sort through stacks for hidden gems, wear band t-shirts, and jam in garage bands or via air guitar in basements. Today is not a good time to be young. We were the lucky ones! Being old in a time when the world has fallen so low isn't a bad thing. We can sit back and watch the world go down in flames while retaining our memories of better days. Today's kids will look back and have zero recollections of their youth other than staring at their phones all day.
