  • Where should you start your investing journey from?
What is the difference between buying a single stock vs. buying a portfolio of stocks on smallcase?
And which are my favorite smallcases?
I have talked about all of these questions in this video in hopes of making your first-time (and subsequent) investments smooth.

I began my investment journey at the age of 38, primarily through hard work and dedication. Now at the age of 42, I am thrilled to share that my passive income exceeded $100k in a single month for the first time. This success reinforces the importance of the advice mentioned earlier. It is not about achieving quick wealth, but rather ensuring long-term financial prosperity

Investors should exercise caution with their exposure and exercise caution when considering new investments, particularly during periods of inflation. It is advisable to seek guidance from a professional or trusted advisor in order to navigate this recession and achieve potential high yields.

Through closely monitoring the performance of my portfolio, I have witnessed a remarkable growth of $483k in just the past two quarters. This experience has shed light on why experienced traders are able to generate substantial returns even in lesser-known markets. It is safe to say that this bold decision has been one of the most impactful choices I have made recently.

@ankurwarikoo I recently began investing in smallcase after watching your video where you said that smallcase take only one time charges of 118 rupees. However, I accidentally discovered that smallcase charges an additional fee of 100 rupees plus GST EACH TIME I make a lump sum investment. In your video, you mentioned that smallcase only imposes a one-time fee of 118 rupees. As a responsible content creator, I trusted your advice and started investing around 10-15k every 3-4 days. I kindly request you to create videos with more responsibility, considering the significant impact they have on investors.

Managing money is different from accumulating wealth, and the lack of investment education in schools may explain why people struggle to maintain their financial gains. The examples you provided are relevant, and I personally benefited from the market crisis, as I embrace challenging times while others tend to avoid them. Well, at least my advisor does too, jokingly.

Is it because they are expecting dividends?

Thanks for the video but now,
Extra transaction charges of Rs. 118 has been implemented on the All weather small case which didn't exist before Nov 2022. Though I have been investing for only 1 year 3 months. Now this small case doesn't feel free and seems to eating into my returns big time considering the rebalancing.
    Please suggest.

@ankurwarikoo I have only one doubt regarding "Minimum Investment Amount" is this a fee of picking a stock idea? For example "House of tata" Minimum Investment Amount -- is 17k something, just wanted to know is this a fee or it will be my 1st investment and every month when I'll add more money it will be add-on to that 17k.

Any advise on where to invest as the financial year is coming to an end and I want to invest ASAP. FYI: I haven't invested on anything till now, so I'm thinking to invest (1.5L - PF amount).

Hi sir, in weekly rebalance smallcases, whenever there is rebalance, there is transaction fee and then stocks are sold, so everytime I am paying capital gain tax of 20% on them, so effective returns over a year become very less as compared to what they say, so how do you recommend to go about in these smallcases?

I have always advocated bringing capital through Smallcase gradually through the SIP routes. Nowadays there is a cost associated with SIP, which I feel somehow is not right. This will discourage people bringing capital more frequently.
Surprisingly, no big youtuber/influencer is talking about this matter. I request you to atleast research this and make a video to at-least make your audience aware about the charges associated with SIP in small case.

As small case will have rebalancing at frequent cycles we will be charged 15% STCG on profits for each cycle, while in mutual funds you can escape from this situation by tax harvesting and holding stocks till you enter into LTCG tax rate.
Can you compare a mutual fund and a small case considering the tax into picture? If a mutual fund can provide a CAGR of 20% for an example, to get similar returns what should be the CAGR of the small case?
    Regards,
    Harish.
