I paid 9k for my 69 lemans in 2016 and it’s great and runs like a clock every year.

In 1968 you could get the GTO bumper delete and get a credit on the window sticker. On certain colors in 1968 you couldn't the GTO bumper because of the paint color.

The 68 and 69 gto hide away headlights was an option there was alot of gto s sold with the non hidden light option... saved money and back then the prices of some of those options doesn't sound like much but was expensive and you could shave that price down to get the 400 4spd and such

Yes they definitely made GTOs without hideaway headlights. In 68-69

@@BRIANBEALERisRoundemUp The comment about the chrome bumper is accurate too. Although %99 percent of GTOs had the Enduro bumper. But for whatever reason you could order a chrome bumper on a GTO.

Hideaways were an option both years .
In 68 you could order a chrome bumper as a “ delete” option for the endura bumper . I think you got 40 bucks back or something like that
