I miss those buses in Denmark, we did have some of them.
Great video as always, I was wondering as I was recently in Turku (I live in England) and saw Muurinen and Jalo Bus vehicles on route 99. On Föli's website, it says the route is operated by Länsilinjat (I did see some Länsilinjat vehicles too) so why were other companies vehicles working it now. I did read somewhere that the route would change contract to LS-Liikennelinjat in July this year but I saw this before July. Is it just because of the upcoming contract change or is it something else?
Thank you! And I'm glad you asked, I actually just found out what is going on with that. Länsilinjat in Turku has been suffering from the lack of buses and drivers(apparently the working conditions there aren't the best), and at first they were renting or loaning buses from Jalobus. And later at some point they decided to subcontract two shifts out. One to Jalobus and another one to Muurinen, which is why you can see their buses and drivers on route 99. And as you said, there is a new contract starting in July, which means that the last buses from Länsilinjat on that route will be replaced by other operators' buses too.

@@Driver200 Actually now I think about it, I’m pretty sure I’ve seen a similar thing happen on V-S Bussipalvelut’s 14 and 15 routes. Is it that same thing with a lack of drivers?
I'm not sure about that but I would think that it's more about lack of buses. V-S Bussipalvelut has only two 3-axle buses, and if one of those is broken they usually use one of Linjaliikenne Nyholm's buses.
