absolutely amazing machine ... from the first time I wondered how Toroidal transformers were made, it's been tearing my mind apart trying to imagine the set up. and it's still confusing, but it helps to see it happening, even if I can't quite understand how.
This is the same problem as with sewing machines: when we make coils by hand, we can release the wire and catch it again on the other side of the hole. But a machine (so far) doesn't have the agility of human fingers. And even if it did, it's inefficient. So they pre-spool the length of the winding onto the "magazine", and then thread it in one go without having to release and catch the wire. In sewing machines, they use two spools of thread (one above, one below the fabric) and the machine actually makes special "knots" that are nothing like what a seamstress makes.
@@TheNefastor i went through a sewing machine fascination phase too....and when i worked temporary positions, i helped move big textile machinery that was absolutely mind blowing.
I have an idea, but it would take too long to explain fully. I think the basic principal is that the gear ring feeding the wire is not attached to anything, just sitting in a round slot, being driven by another gear, and the wire passes between the slot and the gear ring. In fact, may work much like a sewing machine bobbin shuttle, in the location where the machine creates the stitch under the fabric.
@@Kazuo1GI thought so too but try that with ur hand and find that the wire gets bound up. With each turn u make, a turn winds on the other side of the tool/finger/“needle”. Thats what doesn’t make sense. The feed end of the wire would have to pass through the core in order to wind more than one without binding up.
It would be great if there existed a ~50lb mono amp with toroidal and heatsinks and any other possible part made of silver, with easy serviceable capacitors. Silver alone could double in price every ~10 years. Convincing a wife to purchase two for ~$30k each as investment while enjoying high-end audio would be significantly more manageable 😄
Not regularly spaced , plenty of empty gap between the wire turns , so very bad winding in fact ,i hope it's only a power supply transformer running at 50 Hertz ,imagine what the frequency reponse would be at higher fréquency if it was intended for an output audio transformer !!!!
@@eyescreamcake If it is for a low-frequency audio application, let's say a sub-woofer, then we are talking 20-120 Hz - not a big deal if the windings are as they are.
sir if you assemble a 4.5kva toroid transformer with the 220V output of the 110.55CT skunder, how much is the maximum of the primary and secondary current

The machine has an inaccurate setting. The turn lies on the previous turn
Yeah. But it won’t significantly effect performance. Possibly more magnetic interference tho.
@@jjhack3r there may be interturn short circuits

I have no idea how it can wind the wire like that even while watching it.

Luar biasa,, canggihh😍😍
Windings are poorly spaced....

I wouldn't have made a video of this work.

Audio transformers run at 50hz too they're connected to mains it doesn't matter what frequency amplifier has.

one way to determine max current, is that current must be below 10A per 1mm squared of wire surface otherwise it heats up
Where I can buy one unit?
It's CCA wire or Pure OFC wire
Nice work I can actually do this with my hand….. I’m looking forward to get the machine pls how much is it ?🙏
Everything is better when done with hands.

Transformador top
It doesn't look very well wound, the wires are crossed, badly in some places, and uneven.
