  • Join us as we wrap up our final search for Robert and Loveda Proctor in this 8-part documentary, for a missing couple from Aurora, Nebraska. The couple vanished after picking up Robert from the hospital on January 11th, 2023, and have not been seen since.
Robert is a 21-year veteran of the US Navy, having served as a Seabee in Korea and Vietnam, and the couple have been married for an astounding 65 years. Unfortunately, Loveda has issues with her eyesight at night, and Robert suffers from dementia, which complicates the search for the couple.
In this episode, we explore several leads, including potential sightings of the couple in Lexington, Nebraska, and examine footage from various locations in the hopes of finding any clues to their whereabouts.
With the help of the Nebraska State Patrol and other federal agencies, we tirelessly search for the Proctors, hoping to bring them home safely. Follow our journey through the heart of this emotional story, as we search for Robert and Loveda and work to unravel the mystery of their disappearance.
Tragically, the Proctors were found deceased on March 11, 2023, just 55 miles from their home. In this emotional and heartfelt documentary series, we follow the search for the couple and hear from their family members, who share personal stories about the Proctors and their love for each other.
Join us in this emotional journey and watch the full video to experience the unwavering love and support from the family and community.

I want to thank AWP for sticking with this case, and for pouring so much time and energy on the Proctor case. It was inevitable that there would be a case that other searchers would solve before AWP could locate them. It doesn't diminish anyone's contribution in the least. Thanks guys, for being there, and for supporting the family and local authorities. Your efforts are a shining example of what it means to be humane to your fellow humans. Thanks for restoring my faith in humanity.

They weren't found by a team. AWP was especially useful for a place like Nebraska because there's no wooded areas, mountains, etc. that would hide them. They'd either be out in the open, or underwater. And being out in the open meant soon and inevitably someone driving by would spot them, which is what happened.

Bob was found inside the vehicle, which had run out of gas and was discovered to have a dead battery.
And a statement from Victor “They did let us know that my dad was in the vehicle and that my mom had her coat on and my dad’s coat in her hand, with my dad’s walker,” Victor shared. “She had walked 100 yards uphill and fell down by a tree and that’s where they found her.”

It's is still confusing. Why was the car underneath water or was it underneath water. Sad story. Seniors always need their family members to be very close and attentive. However, like my family members or many other families that are stuck in time. They remember how strong and capable their parents were when they were in their youth then leave them to carryout the impossible based on their past life experiences of strength, courage, and clarity. I pray that the situation concerning your family members not fade but their lives and the incident would used as a tool for community outreach and awareness that would benefit not only for a special watch and care for seniors but for all neighbors especially, for the most vulnerable. 🙏

I would have liked to know HOW they were found, where, under what circumstances, the way most of AWP searches are finished. After eight videos and the same type of search each video one is expecting the final video to wrap up the search with the discovery or at least a summary of the discovery. I love AWP but this could have been a two part story.

Unless there's cattle to check, a minimum maintenance road isn't going to be used for a while after a snow storm. The snow blows for a long way on the Plains, and drifts a lot. After one storm a few years ago, the snow drift behind the cedar trees was as high as the trees.
I've seen drifts hundreds of feet long behind a single tractor tire.
Where they turned east on highway 30 on day 1, it looks like the Procters missed the turn, they were only a few miles north.
It makes sense, the light in Minden likely stopped them, and they saw the signs for Kearney and i80. Go through there daily, and I can never catch the light green going west.

Jared. You have a true gift. Keep doing what you're doing. I could tell you a long story about volunteer work in a nursing home and being blamed for things i didnt do. Everyone except the elderly people who truly knew my heart threw shame on me. The staff told the families i was bad news. Then one month after my friend Regina passed away i was given the gift she promised she would send my way once she left the earth
A sweet caring man! I wasnt even allowed to be on the assisted living property for months prior. But we spoke on the phone every day and she was determined to make things right for how i had been treated, even by her own family. And she sure did a month after she passed a very random event took place! I guess my point is that we earthlings are a small part of what's happening. Im sure the souls of those who you are searching for are so delighted to be part of your story and your success. But its your efforts that have made this happen. Please keep doing what you do!!

@@sara54501It doesn’t seem like cause of death has been publicly released. They know that Bob was in the car and Loveda had fallen down 100 yards outside the car near a tree. She left a note in the car that said “Call Victor”, which is their son. It was January when they went missing and the car was out of gas when they found it, so most likely they died of hypothermia. They were older snd weaker, so probably more susceptible to hypothermia than a healthy younger person. Very sad.

People only found them as fast as they did, because of this channel. Many folks in Nebraska went out searching because of the coverage. anyone that has ever done hauls through Nebraska while trucking knows that the MINIMUM Maintenence roads are VERY deceptive and not clearly marked. Most people write them off as a visual "yellow sign" that is something entirely different than what they actual mean. Especially for an older person with bad eye sight. new marker types should be created for this reason.

Bob and Loveda Proctor were found deceased, according to Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office.
Saturday at approximately 3:15 p.m. the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by a citizen who found a vehicle stuck on a minimum maintenance road north of 100th and Keystone Road about 11 miles northeast of Kearney.
Deputies were able to locate the vehicle, which was identified as the missing vehicle of the Aurora, NE couple Robert and Loveda Proctor. Two adults were located deceased in the area of the scene, and preliminary investigation has identified the persons as Robert and Loveda Proctor. Foul play is not suspected.

They were found in Bufalo County, Nebraska. This is straight west from Aurora, east of Lexignton.
From Aurora Police: "at approximately 3:15 PM the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by a citizen who found a vehicle stuck on a minimum maintenance road north of 100th and Keystone Road. Deputies were able to locate the vehicle, which was identified as the missing vehicle of the Aurora, NE couple Robert and Loveda Proctor. from the Aurora news report on it. if you google map keystone road in kearny and then find 100th street and go a little north you can see the 2 farmhouses he talks about that they went past.
“We believe that they went to Minden and went straight north because the gravel road they were on is straight in line with that highway out of Minden,” he said. “So they crossed over I-80 and then as soon as they crossed over (Highway) 30 they were on gravel for about four or five miles and then they hit the minimum maintenance road.”
Victor said his parents continued north for about 1-1/2 miles and then got stuck on a road reported to be in rough condition. In fact, the family tried to visit the site Saturday, but was advised not to, as the road was in such poor condition and there was no place to turn around.
“Right before they went on to the minimum maintenance road there were two farmhouses,” Victor shared. “I believe that’s where my mom was trying to walk to, trying to get help. My mom never stopped trying to help.”
Law enforcement authorities informed the family that Loveda was found near a tree, approximately 100 yards away from the vehicle. Bob was found inside the vehicle, which had run out of gas and was discovered to have a dead battery.
“They did let us know that my dad was in the vehicle and that my mom had her coat on and my dad’s coat in her hand, with my dad’s walker,” Victor shared. “She had walked 100 yards uphill and fell down by a tree and that’s where they found her.”
Joe Proctor, the family’s middle son, said it meant a lot to finally find his parents, though he was struggling with a sense of helplessness they must have felt near the end.
“You know it just hurts because our mom has always been a supporter for all of us,” he said. “My mom needed us and we couldn’t find her. We spent every day driving and looking for my mom and dad and it just hurts. I’m glad somebody found them, that’s for sure. They were together, I guess, and they’ll go to heaven together, so that’s a plus.”
Loveda left one final message, Victor shared, for anyone who found the vehicle.
“They also said that my mom left a note in the vehicle to ‘Call Victor,” he said, his voice cracking. “I’m happy that my mom and dad are with their family now that they haven’t gotten to see. They’re in heaven now, I know they are, and I can’t wait to see them again.”
