I grew up with not very much money. I then 30+ years in the food industry. With all that, I have become jaded and my joy is now having others experience different food. These videos hit me right in my happiness.
I'm American and I have to say that the cheesecake is by far one of the most fulfilling desserts I have ever had. It's the kind of thing that you want to refrain from eating too often so it is easier to appreciate it when you do eat it once in a long while. I just knew that they would absolutely love this dessert:-)

Orange poppyseed cake, Hummingbird cake, Chocolate banana cake, Carrot cake with walnut and creamcheese icing, Black forest Cherry cake would make them so happy
Orange flavor would be lovely. Liqueur-flavored cheesecake - amoretto, Grand Marnier, Frangelica - are all delicious, too, though I suppose the inclusion of alcoholic beverages would be a problem for some or all of these tasters.
My momma made a graham cracker crust, topped with half inch cold cheesecake layer, original flavor. Then, she added a layer of chocolate pudding. Top that with whipped topping with pecan crumbs and slivers of milk chocolate on top. She called it “striped delight.” I call it sin pie! It’s so delicious, it is sinful! Hahaha I’m happy you enjoy the cheesecakes. One of my favorite desserts. God bless you all!

For people who come from hot dry areas with little access to refrigeration, a sweet creamy desert like cheesecake genuinely blows their minds. I saw it with the locals in Afghanistan. The closest thing these guys have at home would probably be goat yogurt. You can tell Choudhary has had it before by the way he lights up. 🤣 Love these guys.
Yes. They've all had some style of cheesecake before, but they have a difficult time remembering the English names for the different dishes they've been served. And I've noticed that all of the tribal reaction channels have a habit of automatically putting "for the first time" in their titles and hashtags, whether it's the first time or the tenth. lol

I also appreciate and respect the differences of our cultures and believe that their way of life is also better in some aspects.

If you have a South Asian grocer in your area, sometimes they have fresh sweets for sale and if so, they might tell you when to expect some, or have ready made boxes of commercial brands. In my area there's some available at times but mostly people drive to the greater Toronto area where they order beautiful boxes of laddu and various other mithai (sweets), which are customary to give to guests at weddings, birthday parties, etc. So good.

I have just eaten my Sunday dessert, meringue nest with fresh raspberries and double cream. I ate it in the style of Choudhary and enjoyed every mouthful. I do enjoy this channel. I have some jaggery which I have yet to try. My favourite from Mancha shop is the Winter melon that has been soaked in syrup. Jallabi are also another favourite. 👍

But if you make meringue it is egg whites and sugar and a tiny splash of vinegar and whisk it and whisk it until it is like stiff white foam. If you do it yourself it is difficult to make the nest shape so I just do a big spoonful shapes. Then they go in the oven on a very low heat and basically dry out. Let them cool then just add fresh raspberries or strawberries or even canned fruit salad then cream on top. Eton Mess is another dessert using the same method for meringue but if they go wrong you can break the meringue up and mix in fresh strawberries and cream. It is best to serve the desserts as soon as it is made. 👍

One of the things that I like about your channel is that when you describe food, you take a moment to fully savor the flavors and textures. You show such love and appreciation for the meals which you are offered, and it makes me think of how a delicious meal can create a sense of community and connection with others. When I try something new, I think about how the recipe can be adapted to accommodate religious dietary restrictions and food allergies, as well as how lucky I am to have access to such a variety of spices and other ingredients so that I can make it at home.

@@AmyLeeAngelLove I'm just very fascinated by the odd things that people say sometimes. Of COURSE it's delicious to him, as he designed a custom recipe specifically for his own palate. I'm genuinely curious if he understands the difference between objective and subjective, hence my original question. It's a bit like when young mothers say "Don't you think my baby is the most beautiful baby in the world?" I'll usually say something like "well, not to me, but it makes sense that you would think so" and then they get upset like I did something wrong telling the truth... so either they WANT me to lie, or they aren't aware that it's subjective. I'm never sure which. People say very strange things and it makes me want to know more about how they think.

Gentlemen, a real American will often enjoy cheesecake with raspberry, cherry, or strawberry fruit sauce on top. And we enjoy it with a cup of strong coffee with a bit of cream most often. I have seen blueberry cheesecake, but the most common are cherry, strawberry, raspberry, and of course, chocolate cheesecake. Next time, try it with strong coffee! Especially the chocolate cheesecake, the flavor mixes perfectly with coffee. We even have a restaurant chain here called "Cheesecake Factory" which specializes in fancy over-the-top cheesecake flavors. Also, Mr. Gul Sher is 100% correct. We do indeed have orange and banana cakes. The orange ones are called orange poundcake, orange marmelade buntcake, or Honeybell orange cake. And we have lots of banana "cakes" but the best is called banana cream cake and it is lovely... sometimes my mom makes banana bread and that is also sweet and delicious. Finally, there is a fancy western dessert called "Bananas Foster" and we dump that over vanilla cake sometimes. And yes doctor Tahir, cheesecake is a good solution for an angry wife!!! LOL
I love tiramisu, but I am fairly sure coffee is not normal in Pakistan, so they probably wouldn’t appreciate it. Plus, they are muslims, so they may not consume alcohol and tiramisu has liqueur in it.

Great video yet again you champs ,,,👍 Can I suggest an easy to make Australian ( maybe New Zealand dessert ) A Pavlova 😋 egg whites , no yolk, whipped up to like a foam . Then spread on a tray and baked. Then some chopped up fruit added like strawberries and passion fruit etc . And something you could make easily 🙌

I also prefer it with cream over the top, you may have the choice of a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It's awful to get hooked on foreign food that can't be found at home: Sticky toffee pudding, roast beef with Yorkshire pudding, steak and kidney pudding, bangers and mash, proper fish and chips etc., etc. 😔

It should be pointed out, that many of these delicious dishes originated from other countries. For example, France is known to be the master at pastries.
To all the tasters and the channel: There are two basic cooking methods for cheesecakes, and dozens of flavors. You can either do a baked New York-style cheesecake, or a chilled one made with gelatin. I think probably the baked kind would be best in your climate. For either, you need a refrigerator. The most classic style besides plain is strawberry. But I have seen everything from mint chocolate chip to fruit liquors to various styles of candies. The one I make for summer is a key lime cheesecake (tiny limes with a sweet flavor) with a crust made of ground up almonds spiced with ginger. I also make a maple-pumpkin cheesecake for the winter US holidays. I think you could make a cheesecake using cheese made from drained yogurt, and jaggery. Then you could use local fruits to flavor it. I hope you try it!

Gentlemen, a real American will often enjoy cheesecake with raspberry, cherry, or strawberry fruit sauce on top. And we enjoy it with a cup of strong coffee with a bit of cream most often. I have seen blueberry cheesecake, but the most common are cherry, strawberry, raspberry, and of course, chocolate cheesecake. Next time, try it with strong coffee! Especially the chocolate cheesecake, the flavor mixes perfectly with coffee. We even have a restaurant chain here called "Cheesecake Factory" which specializes in fancy over-the-top cheesecake flavors.
Also, Mr. Gul Sher is 100% correct. We do indeed have orange and banana cakes. The orange ones are called orange poundcake, orange marmelade buntcake, or Honeybell orange cake. And we have lots of banana "cakes" but the best is called banana cream cake and it is lovely... sometimes my mom makes banana bread and that is also sweet and delicious. Finally, there is a fancy western dessert called "Bananas Foster" and we dump that over vanilla cake sometimes.
And yes doctor Tahir, cheesecake is a good solution for an angry wife!!! LOL

I love tiramisu, but I am fairly sure coffee is not normal in Pakistan, so they probably wouldn’t appreciate it. Plus, they are muslims, so they may not consume alcohol and tiramisu has liqueur in it.

How old were you when your mind opened up? Growing up as a military kid then joining myself i been all over the world and love other cultures and i learn to cook from places i visit.

I am not a huge fruit with dessert type guy (too sweet), but whether chocolate or cheesecake, I love adding raspberries to it. Raspberry cheesecake (if the raspberries are tart) is delicious

Great video yet again you champs ,,,👍 Can I suggest an easy to make Australian ( maybe New Zealand dessert ) A Pavlova 😋 egg whites , no yolk, whipped up to like a foam . Then spread on a tray and baked. Then some chopped up fruit added like strawberries and passion fruit etc . And something you could make easily 🙌
Thanks to the video editors for including photos of dishes they refer to. This helps it to be a learning experience for us also. Maybe if it is inserted in a corner it can be left up longer so we can continue to read the translation. Thanks again for thinking of this.
I love any kind of cheesecake but my very favorite kind of sweet is a pastry called a Napoleon I highly recommend them!
One time I was craving a Napoleon after not having any for several years. I didn't tell anyone but my mom stopped at the Italian bakery and brought me one on a random whim. Psychic dessert 😅

I live in the States and we don't have that here, so I had to look it up. It looks AMAZING. Everything in the recipe is available here so I may have to try to make it.

I also prefer it with cream over the top, you may have the choice of a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It's awful to get hooked on foreign food that can't be found at home: Sticky toffee pudding, roast beef with Yorkshire pudding,
steak and kidney pudding, bangers and mash, proper fish and chips etc., etc. 😔

There are two basic cooking methods for cheesecakes, and dozens of flavors. You can either do a baked New York-style cheesecake, or a chilled one made with gelatin. I think probably the baked kind would be best in your climate. For either, you need a refrigerator.
The most classic style besides plain is strawberry. But I have seen everything from mint chocolate chip to fruit liquors to various styles of candies. The one I make for summer is a key lime cheesecake (tiny limes with a sweet flavor) with a crust made of ground up almonds spiced with ginger. I also make a maple-pumpkin cheesecake for the winter US holidays.
I think you could make a cheesecake using cheese made from drained yogurt, and jaggery. Then you could use local fruits to flavor it. I hope you try it!

Just amazing and feels so good to Experience their joy and gratitude at trying cheesecake. It really does bring home how amazing these kinds of things are in life and to enjoy them instead of just taking them for granted.
