    I did aceable, licensed in October, closed on my first sale January 21st. Are you in the Houston area?

      Wow congrats!!! 🌟 I’m in San Antonio! Do you have any advice for the state/national test!?

    • @jessestrickler5502
      @jessestrickler5502 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @Real Mom Real Estate The state test was actually a lot harder for me because it did include more math and one of the formulas I couldn't remember, as well as purposely confusing language. I highly recommend writing down what the test tells you is the value for each question. If you struggle on 1 question, let it go, if you know you struggled on 4, you may look at those and see which you can feel more certain about. The computer does let you mark ones you want to go back to. Try to remember or write down the places that the content tells you the differences between the national laws And Texas laws, There are some things that aren't even a concern for the state test because we do things differently in texas, but you need knowledge for the national section. Aceable reviews are fantastic for the national section; their content, notes on differences and going back to the math heavy sections and double checking comprehension. I'm an aural learner and the majority of aceable content I just listened to as I did life, took notes of things I struggled to understand and differences and I did really great with 4 days of reviewing.

    Ok so…. I work in construction (heavy equipment operator) and want to do a complete career change. I already make around 100k a year but really want to try this. Im tired of waking up at 4am for work and getting off at 630pm. Im 27 and I need to enjoy life more. 60-70hr work weeks is starting to tire me.
    So, Im thinking about quitting and really studying hard for this. Luckily no kids or wife So no distractions. Iv looked into the school of champions. And just looked into aceble school of real estate. Big price difference. Especially with the most expensive one being $600+ and school of champions one being $1,600.
    My question is… which school and which price for the courses do you recommend? Obviously some have more perks than others.
    Also, Iv seen something but doing 240hours instead of the 180 on school of champions, why is that?

      Hi Jesse! Thanks for reaching out!
      I completely understand what you are going through or how you are feeling about a career change. I was a killer whale trainer before making the switch. It’s intimidating and can be a little scary at first but it’s a lot of fun when you finally pass that test!
      I would say when it comes to picking a school, it depends on how you want to go about starting your new career. Here is how you can do it:
      1. Keep your current job and take Aceable agent at your own pace. And then when you pass the test, you move on to real estate full time.
      2. Quit your job and study full time to get it done quicker with Champions. Of course for this you need to keep in mind financial responsibilities etc
      3. Keep your job and do the Champions night classes. This can be exhausting but it allows you to keep your job while studying for real estate at a decent speed.
      Honestly I would choose Aceable agent if you are not in a rush and just want to go at your own pace. But if you want to GET IT DONE, then go with champions. I really enjoyed all the options Champions had to offer!

    Hi! Im looking into starting Aceable agent, i just have a few questions. Like after all the course is done like do you do the State exam on there as well?? or is that seperate? and do i have to pay for that too? Also which plan of aceable agent did u do??

    • @realmomrealestate3607
      @realmomrealestate3607  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Pearl! Great questions!! After you have taken all the courses you will submit all your certificates to TREC (or your local Real Estate Commission) and then they basically give you the OK that you can go take the State and National exam. It’s not through Aceable Agent. The cost to take the state and National exam here in Texas $40. You will also have to pay for a background check and fingerprints as well which I remember being inexpensive. The plan I ended up doing was purchasing one class at a time. I only did that because I went through all the options for taking classes for my TH-cam channel and being able to do a review. I would honestly recommend purchasing one if you are still unsure. If you feel confident that you want to do this and you feel like you’re okay with the self taught method, then buy all the classes!
      I hope all this makes sense or helps! If something doesn’t make sense, we can hop on a phone call and I can explain a little better.
      Congrats on making the decision to go into real estate 🎉

    Hiii !! I’m on principles of RE ll on aceable agent, it’s SOO much information to learn..I tend to forget things real fast ,was there alot of math questions on the exam for that section? & was each chapter easy for you

    • @realmomrealestate3607
      @realmomrealestate3607  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Dasia!! Thanks for reaching out!! I do remember some courses being more overwhelming or harder to grasp than others. But of course I’m sure that is different for each person! The difference between Aceable Agent and Champions is that Aceable Agent has you go through EVERYTHING in the “book”. You have to go through every slide… regardless if you choose to read it or not, you have to click through each. At champions, they have you turn to the page that is relevant to the test so you don’t feel AS overwhelmed. I would say with Aceable Agent, I recommend getting through the section and focus on practicing the practice tests at the very end! I found those practice tests to be extremely helpful and sometimes they would be the same, if not very similar, to the test they give you at the end!
      Hopefully this helps!! If you want to connect more to ask more questions, email me at brittany@goldbarteam.com and we can connect over the phone:)

      Quick question I work full time……Can I still take the test at the end of class even if I don’t study but just take good notes from the zoom course?

    • @dasiamariscal6039
      @dasiamariscal6039 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@erikalovesjesus2770 yeah ! Once you're done with the chapter ,at the end it will tell you that you'll have to schedule for the test. It's a proctored exam so you can't use your notes and they'll have you show around your test area
      ,I'm not sure if every bundle has the practice test but try to do those and see what vocab they're using and study that too!
      Aside from that you get 2chances in Texas to pass it ,if not you have to restart that courses section again.
