I have dealt with a crippling amount of social anxiety throughout my entire life. I took psilocybin with the expectations of having a fun visual trip for the first time, thinking nothing of how it would affect my brain. A week later, I noticed how much quieter things were in my head, and a lack of care for what others thought. Being around others is now just another part of my day, rather than a life or death fear.

I was on 10 grams dry and experienced ego dissolution. I was in the space of "nowhere". only a thin red line kept me connected to the rest of the world. when it washed away, there was nothing left. then everything came back. and when there was nothing, it was as if I existed when I did not exist. it was "nothing". it's neither good nor bad. it is pure "nothing".
I don’t feel like repeating this experience, as if everything had already become clear to me. It became easier for me to live. less anxiety, less fuss. there was regularity. I began to notice such things as the sunrise from the window in the morning and enjoy it. as if old processes were rebooted.

I'd been prescribed all kinds of over the counter medication including amphetamine derivatives before I was even 18. Psilocybin is such a gift to mankind. Was very unhappy/depressed in my late 20’s. Studied psychedelics for two years before my supportive wife picked up on my wanting to try it to help with my issues. She ended up getting me some randomly. Incredible transformation. My wife and father had a lot to do, with their support. What it does is makes you realize you don’t have a long time to live, it shows you what’s wrong with your life, what you’re doing wrong and what’s wrong with the way you’re treating people. It allows you to release your grief one session at a time. At some point you will be much better aligned with life. You’ll find that you don’t need it because you already know what you need to do. The experience itself is beautiful and incredible, even the hard trips that show you how bad a person you can be/have been. It will never get old, how beautiful and bizarre the visuals are. Nothing is like it. Great set and setting, amazing music, blindfold, in a dark room for 6-8 hours is a fantastic way to discover the experience and yourself. I highly recommend the experience for discovery and improvement. Absolutely incredible. ❤️

I began to be more respectful of nature and animals. I cried at the end of the trip like a child because I was simply allowed to live on this planet. answered many of my own questions. I have REALLY BAD anxiety and depression, like, life-alteringly, borderline handicapping anxiety and depression. Psychedelics help a lot. I haven't tried micro dosing because it seems like the research indicates the effect is mostly placebo. But in large doses, my trips help my suffering, in the moment, TREMENDOUSLY. Psychadelic trips may have saved my life. However, unfortunately for me, I have been unable to integrate the realizations and therapeutic breakthroughs I've experienced during trips into my everyday life, so I still experience a very rapid return to baseline mental illness.
Fortunately, psychedelics are non-addictive, and I am an addict in recovery, so if they were addictice, I would know. I just wish I could feel everyday like I do when I'm tripping, like everything is okay and everything will be okay.

I know an elderly woman who lost interest in sweet treats, coffee/tea, and obsessive knitting/crochet. The theme of psilocybin seems to be anxiety reduction so perhaps these substances, or any addiction really, is some form of self-medication for anxiety reduction. Psilocybin seems to reset some process in the mind. She is more calm than ever before, and much more clear in her goals. Funny.

I had to call my mom a day after I recovered to tell her thank you, and that I love her lol. It does a lot more than make you feel grateful, but that was a particularly strong and positive experience for me. It's great to see positive things being said about psilocybin. The safety record of Imperial College and Johns Hopkins University are outstanding where psilocybin has been used, but it should only be used with trained guides and medical screening. If it's safe for you to proceed, the trips can be extremely challenging, but even more significant are the rewards on offer where someone "integrates" the experience - committing to change.

I felt very overwelmed and like people were looking at me. I eventually found my "safe space" which was my tent with the rain fly off so i could still be with everyone. That evening we saw Phish and it was the most imcredible thing ever. Lol
Another time i was in the woods and i could literally see the ground breath and pulse like it was alive. I felt really at one with nature. It was truly magical. Point being environment plays a crucuial role in your experience.

The mushroom in your video was the Fly Agaric. A very toxic mushroom. Popular in fairy pictures it is not the Liberty cap a small slim brown mushroom usually used for it's LSD properties. Many fungi contain this compound but many also contain many other toxins with nasty effects.
Fly Agaric used to be sliced and placed on tables in shallow bowls of milk. This was to attract and kill flies since the bronze age.
    Pretty ,but also pretty deadly.
I'm pretty emotional without substances. I'm a happy Stoner and a miserable moody drunk. Guess which I prefer. Great channel.

If you do mushrooms, do them in a room or environment you're comfortable in with people you trust, this avoids having a bad trip.
Don't do them in a public place cuz you will laugh at random things and you might start getting paranoid of people noticing you.
Start with a lower dose, say 3 mushrooms, and see how it makes you feel. Feel great? up the dose next time.
Mentalize yourself into accepting sensory changes, let them happen and don't fight them. Enjoy them!
You will see better, you will hear better, you will feel your mind opening, it's a wonderful experience... You will NOT see things that aren't there or have auditory hallucinations, you will stay in control of your mind and be aware of what you say and do at all times. You will remember your whole experience once the effects are gone.
Stay away from the Amanita Muscana, which is that red top mushroom with white dots. That is NOT psilocybin.
Don't do them too often (maybe once a month or two), if you do them too often you will quickly become immune and not feel any effect. This will be for life.
    Definitely worth a try.

I felt unity, like I swear I could feel the electrical fields of other living things, it was like a web of life that I wasn’t simply connected to, I was a part of. I also had no concept of fear or negative emotions, I was just so at peace and knew that whatever happened, everything was going to be okay. 10/10 would recommend, I felt like a new person with a lot more energy

I have been using and organizing magical sessions with the golden teacher variety for others for two years now.
From my experience, I have found that the golden mean formula works here
    0.05 x (your weight) = ideal dose.
For example: your weight is 70 kilograms. 0.05 x 70 = 3.5 grams dry. at this weight, you are most likely to have a harmonious and light Trip. I weigh 85 kg, and my sweet spot is 4 grams dry. It's always a great pleasure to have a consistently high-quality Trip once a month.
This formula can be used not as a clear instruction, but as a “vector to which you can strive,” since everyone has a different metabolic rate
