- In this episode, we show you how to create 4 new woodworking projects to add to your inventory of products. Three of them are made of reclaimed pallet wood and one is made from a single 2 x 6. Two of these projects are from our own line of home décor, the railroad crossing sign and the blanket ladder. Both have been great sellers for years, and we would love to share our products with you! The other two are sure to be great products for any woodworker that would like to broaden their shop. The recipe book holder is a dupe of a pottery barn product which sells for crazy high prices. Anyone could turn that product into a big seller for the right price! The small towel ladder is a classic project that anyone can make and if you wanted to customize it, you could turn it into a profitable seller!

Saying the size of boards would make it easier for people to re-create the designs. Thanks for all of your hard work making videos for all of us. You’re so Appreciated and Awesome.
I will keep that in mind!
I like that the videos include some clips outside of work, too. Almost vlog style. That's the type of video I love watching. 😊
Thank you 😊
I stumbled onto your channel a couple months back and really enjoy seeing your builds which are always done on a smaller budget. It’s refreshing to find someone who doesn’t build everything out of expensive hardwood and only use tools a lot of us can’t afford.
The railroad crossing sign is really cool!
Thank you 😊
Thanks for the videos- always look forward to them- lots of good projects- including your prices is really helpful- any business tips are really useful- hope you have a great week 🌻🌻
Thank you!
These are great. I love the calm videos. I also love that stain colour on the little ladder. It"s pretty!
@barbblack7825 thank you 😊
Very engaging video! I'm fascinated by the process and the details of the work. You create truly impressive projects. Looking forward to the next episode!
Thanks so much for watching!
You guys rock love all the builds
Thanks for watching!
I would be interested in seeing how you made the paint drying (box). Ingenious idea.
Great projects, yet again. It’s a good thing Aaron’s tall…between the saw and painting. 😮😂
I also wanted to thank you for the guitar clock idea, on your other video, I am making one for each of my sons, and my ex husband. My son had given me a bunch of wooden chair seats, and they’re beautiful and kind of heavy wood, I don’t know what kind of wood it is, I am going to make them from those chair seats. I don’t have a lot of tools, but I am always trying to figure out how I can make something with the tools I do have. 😊
That's so awesome, we'd love to see them when you're done! You can share your projects with us on any of our socials, and we love to show your pictures of the project in one of the videos!
Good idea with matching tray with inlay! I think that's a much better price too. PB always seems outrageous on their prices, which gives hobbyists a great opportunity to put their spin on it and sell for less, with still a great profit!
Their prices are crazy! Anyone that's halfway handy can recreate their products for half the price. We are so glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for your videos! I love everything. Is there some way you can make the music super low when you guys talk. It's just hard for me to hear well, or maybe it's a A.D.H.D. thing on my part. I know you guys work hard on editing these videos though! You guys talk a lot on your videos, you may not even need music. Maybe take a poll to see if people like it, prefer not to have it or don't care. Might be a good idea for another video or some engaging stuff to talk about. Thanks! ❤😊
Thank you! Cheryl here I agree about the music. We need to buy better microphones I think that would help tremendously. Aaron edits the videos. Lol 🤣
What part of Oklahoma are you from? I am in Mcalester Ok. and I am a wood carver and I also do some woodworking.
We're in Norman. Been to Mcalester a million times. We go camping at Robber's cave all the time.
I thought Aaron was cute until I saw Rupert!
Can you tell us what size the railroad crossings sign. How long and wide is the wood? Thank you so much, i love your channel.
Each of the boards are 36" x 5". The finished size is 30" x 30".
@@averystreetdesignstudio thanks so much!!!
Do you have to use special screws with the Kregg?
They do make special pocket hole screws. They come in all lengths and thread types. Regular screws will also work, but they can split the walls of the pocket hole very easily.
That was an awesome video like all the projects that were shown but the cook book stand and the railroad crossing sign was eye catching. Do u have a link to the stencil and pens you were using or the name of them ? Thank you for putting out the wonderful content and videos
Thank you for watching. The stencils we some that we got years ago from hobby lobby. I do t have a link to them. Here is the link to the pens we use.

How do you package items like this?
I am having a problem with this
How do you package items like this?
I have a problem with this
Love your videos
The sign gets packed in a 30 x 30 x 5 box with a bunch of paper, the ladder has to have a custom box that we make. The smaller items will fit in pre made boxes with paper or bubble wrap. We are lucky that our neighbor is our box supplier. They will usually order new sizes if we need them. ULINE has a huge selection of boxes for fairly cheap.
Where do you get a box to ship it?
We have a local box store that we purchase boxes from.
What is with the slots in your work bench?
It is a downdraft table. It sucks the sawdust down through a filter when I'm sanding.
@@averystreetdesignstudio I love that idea and fast response. I am impressed
