Fishing For Wild Trout UNTIL We Were Chased Out By A Thunderstorm | CATCH COOK & CAR CAMPING

- A Wild Trout Fishing Catch and Cook, Car Camping Adventure with my Dog Remi, a Golden Retriever puppy. Been waiting for some truck camping and fishing adventures with my dog! In this episode of Angling Addicts PNW, Remi and I are on a river fishing for trout, fishing for wild trout that is. Cutthroat trout were out main catch but i was pleasantly surprised to start catching Brook trout, and eventually a big brook trout, considering the size of the river that i was fishing.
It didn't take long for my dog and I to get chased off the river by a thunderstorm that rolled in, so i decided it was a good time to find a spot that would be suitable for camping in a car with a dog.
Luckily the storm rolled through so Remi and i didn't have to spend the night camping in the rain.
This area we are trout fishing is on a mountain surrounded by beautiful forest with a crystal clear river water, and at times can be a productive area for wild trout fishing.
Now that remi isn't so tiny anymore, and is a bit more trained, i decided it was time to get this dog out fishing and see how she does... as you can/will see in the video, Remi is quite the fishing buddy and loves seeing fish caught. On top of that, when it came to car camping, suv camping, truck camping, whathaveyou, basically just fishing and camping in the wild, she did great!

Nothing better than life with a dog, except a outdoor partnership with a dog. My English Setter is truly my best friend, time afield with her is just magical. Those cutts are pretty! Great vid.

Awesome video! Keep the puppy away from the raw fish due to possibility of salmon poisoning disease. My dog (lab) would always try to attack any caught fish too!
Thank You, ya that is my biggest fear when it comes to bringing the pup fishing with me. Most places I go I keep her on her leash so she has to stay right at my side. I’ve been surprised this season to see so many people fishing with their dog in places where there are salmon carcasses all over the place, and they just let their dog run around. I will always do my best to keep her safe, even changed up how I do my filleting at home so there is zero chance of her coming across any fish.
I appreciate the concern and kinda feel like not enough dog owners know of the salmon poisoning disease dangers. Thank you!

Awesome thank you, I’ve been meaning to add more but I’ve been so busy. Haha funny you ask about trout spinners. I just made a few that I want to try. Figured since I do so much trout fishing I should probably be making spinners myself for that too… maybe for next year 😏
