I just finished Midnight Mass. After you talked about it in another video I watched it and enjoyed the show. Thank you and I am enjoying the entertainment section of the videos.
I use the little snippets of yarn tails that are too small for anything else (I call that "yarn confetti") as stuffing, sure. BUT I also make ornaments, decor, and jewelry from them. Tiny glass bottles stuffed with my yarn confetti" and a small cork glued to the top make cute ornaments, earrings, or charms. I even use them in potted plants (glued to a bamboo skewer) as decor, or in solid rainbow colors arranged on a shelf. I formerly staged houses for a real estate agent, and stuff like this was always useful and versatile. Sometimes I'd get reports about overheard comments like "OMG I'm *so* going to do that!" You can find glass and plastic bottles and jars in craft stores and online for very little. Some are as tiny as doll house items, some about the size of the fancier sample bottles you'd see at the liquor/package store (another source, incidentally) and they often come with their own closures. I've dabbled with using this stuff in resin to make paperweights and jewelry pieces or beads, and it isn't bad if you take the time to get out all the air bubbles. Plain white (Elmer's) glue works well if you don't need it to be waterproof. My kids used to take yarn confetti and roll a glue-covered soup can in it to make crayon and pencil cups for their teachers. My daughter covered one of her ChiaPets in a similar fashion and she still has that on one of her shelves about 30 years later. When I start spinning yarn from roving (I swear, someday!) I plan on incorporating some yarn confetti to make tweed yarns. With this in mind, I'm not turning loose of it! I have pretty vintage canning jars (the ones with the wire bails and glass lids over rubber gaskets) filled with yarn confetti paired with jars filled with old buttons used as bookends and decor all over the house. Yes, I've lost it. 🤪😜🥰
It was funny hearing you talk to your cats. Cats are funny. I love mine. I laugh. I know what you mean!! I love to watch your videos, especially your how much yarn you can use in 30 days. That was really cool.
He did for a short time. We had all 4 grands over and I didn't want him to get wrecked by a toddler, so we went back up on my shelf in the yarn room. It will be! They are just so beyond cozy and squishy!!!
I noticed you’re using the clover K hook for your blanket. I found metal hooks by knitpro with an ergonomic handle that makes it easier to crochet blankets, at least for me. You may not have an issue with the plastic clovers. I don’t care for them. Just thought I’d share.
Happy Halloween! I have a question The yarn to the left of your stuffies, the garnet color yarn is so pretty, may I ask what color and brand? Love your videos and color choices. Nicky and I were talking color choices as she was helping me finalize details as we discussed how great you are at pairings. ❤❤❤❤
Has anyone ever told you that you look like Kate McKinnon?? TH-cam is showing me a Short of her next to your podcast and the resemblance is uncanny! 🤣🤣

Makes me feel a lot better!!! I was just watching where one lady takes her micro trimmings and cards them into roving to spin.

It is Lion Brand Heartland but I am not sure the colorway. It is garnet and purple marl.
