I seem to remember The Weather Channel coming into existence about, what, 1982 or so? I think it was around about that time period. They've certainly come a long ways since then! I'm glad they came into existence. It makes it a lot easier to see what's coming at you, and how to prepare for it! To Jim Cantore:The first time I ever heard anyone use the expression "Thundersnow", you were the one who said it! You were standing in several inches of snow, and suddenly there was this muted, but very visible, flash of light. You asked "Was that lightning"? A minute or two later, there was another flash of lightning. You, I think, got somewhat excited, to say the least! We then found out that, under the right conditions, that this phenomenon existed. Now, we know the cause and effect. Rock on, Jim, and Rock on, Weather Channel!!!!!

Sound like the type music heard on "Family Matters" or "Getting By".
