- These Boots STINK!
Its been well below freezing for weeks now, but the boys still want to get their walks and runs in. We wanted to protect their toe beans so tried out some boots to keep them warm. I don't think it worked out too well!

My favorite part is when Todd and Chuch are walking (in their remaining boots) with their butts swaying from side to side. Also, I will never not laugh whenever Chuch does his Elvis lip curl thing like at 0:29. ('Whachoo sayin' pretty mama?') When did he develop that? I don't remember him doing it when he was younger! I hope you all enjoy your winter time away from tech - good for you!
At least Tucker & Todd walk in boots Every dog I've had stands in one place, stares at me and then lifts one foot horizontally to the floor! 🤣 I've never laughed so hard at anything in my life!!

I have, too. Outside of the hilarity factory, they do provide protection from salt and other chemicals used to melt snow and ice.

Someone needs to design boots that have 2 laces/strings on both sides of each boot that ties up and over the back of the dog. That would keep the boot pulled up and secure.

Ruffwear grip trex are my favorite. They’re much lower so won’t be as warm but they stay on and also look like Nike shoes a bit. Super cute!

We've had our Golden Retriever for 5 years, and he loves the snow..but he don't like the lake, or even a pool. He runs very fast ,but sleeps like 40 hours a day. 😂

Boots
There is a trick to the boots that I have learned is that you must wrap the Velcro on really tight so they don’t come off. It’s a learning curve. They do work great. I have used them for years.

The ones sterling and colin have are great you shuld ask doris where they got them
I've tried a couple of types of boots on my Goldens over the years and I've never found any that really worked.

We have Ruffwear boots for our golden and they stay on really well, so long as we do NOT use socks with them. The only tricky part is you really need to measure both front and back paws and get the right sizes for each!
These happy boys don't need boots. Have fun in the snow!
I think the owner of the two goldens from Life of Sterling Newton found boots that work. They had them on in one of their videos from around Christmas. They’re in Ontario, I believe, so if they work there, they should be good for Michigan. ❤
