Surprised it has steel tracks if it is only geared towards removing material on ships. Would rubber or even wheeled not be more productive and cheaper?

I don't know why they just wouldn't mount a loader frame on these machines. Add a quick coupler and you can do anything with them. This configuration only goes to number 2 when it could have much more potential. This is ridiculous.

@@Will-tm5bj , yeah, why would they want to make something even more versatile by adding something they already manufactured, and the machine they used to make? My point was they could have easily made it do everything this thing does and much,much more by adding a loader to it .

I thought CAT might make a D-12 then someone posted that CAT sold 6,000 D-11s. Another posted that Komatsu 575's are not produced any more...poor sales? Too high operating costs so probably no D-12

Most dozer operators don't look out the front but use the side to see your blade you can't see out the front or even the front of the machine like a grader your mainly keep your eyes on both sides of the deck yes looking forward to make sure nothing in front of you but mainly the sides of the blade if one side catching or carries or one side digging in and not making contact with the 14ft blade or one side to high and losing your row in the middle but a grade has got a level in the dash as well a bubble

This is worthless. This can’t do anything an articulated wheel loader can’t do better in a ship hold.
