I’m not sure if it matters to you at the moment, but one method I found for keeping your power going through droughts. If you put covers on bad water sources and keep them open they will run through droughts so you can fill the entire bad water river with water wheels that always spin
The spot that you said was 3x3 then put up the correction of 3x2 could easily be made into the 3x3 by adding platforms to fill out the uneven terrain right there. Shook my head when you blew out 3 farm spots trying to get 1 spot.
Iirc the maple sirup and chestnut requires a tapper, at least in other series I've seen they plant maple, chestnut and pine for all 3 tree secondary resources
haha, I've been trying to keep the organic feel of the Folktail for this play through. I have a feeling it's going to come back and haunt me near the end when I try to scale up - but I can always tear down and build again if needed!
@@ZeddTheBuilder I dunno... having housing stacking super high, means you can put all the items for home boosts in one spot and get them all :D Oh, on the super high traffic paths... a couple platforms with a roof on it... helps boost happiness quick ;)

@ZeddTheBuilder the fact that districts can be infinite size and that districts auto allocate is are such big qol improvements. Just be forwarned, the pop explosion from starting a new district can be a shock to you agriculture. Also, if you have a discord server, I have a house design for like 40 beavers that looks quite nice. Kinda big footprint though. Little bigger than your soviet housing, but not much
dandelions are only used for antidote from the herbalist. that is a hilariously overkill sized plot of dandelions :P
What I'm hearing is I need some excuse to make antidote :D

You should try to replace all the bever paths with the elevated things for extra water and it will solve the problem of the farm that had a dead spot
10:25 blowing up 5 tiles of good land to expand the pond to a 1 dead tile further ahead. Truly a perfectionist moment.
haha, I do the same in the next video I'm working on. The corner of the map had 3 dead tiles - can't have the Folktail seeing dead grass!

At 6:30 i belive that you need to put 2 1x1s so there are 4 poles for the ropes
Districts are so much easier in the bad water update. They do all the micromanaging for you. All you have to do is provide storage
Nice! I'll check them out again - I used them in one of the earlier updates and at the time I found it painful to allocate everything

I'm still on Update 5 in this playthrough - once Update 6 is released I think I'll kick start a new colony to use all the new buildings

the shower is there so that they can clean themselves. the lido is then for relaxing.
